@proggen: so, can thunder be an artist just as much as a thinking human? I will delve into the merzbow topic, however, I am curious about his journey. It's one thing to deconstruct art with full awareness, another to declare oneself an artist without having any particular skills and expect to be appreciated.

Enormously overrated. Elevating noise to music is, in my opinion, pure idiocy.

Beautiful. Frivolous, yes, but very classy.
Shakira She Wolf
Voto:
In the tracks produced with Pharrell Williams, his influence is too evident. They are anonymous songs that could easily fit into any album of a singer produced by Williams, without feeling out of place. Moreover, some beats and melodies seem directly lifted from Gwen Stefani's second album, which he produced in part. In short, Shakira can do without this producer with his pre-packaged sound. The subsequent Spanish album, free from these influences, is proof of that.

Indispensable. The confirmation of a multimedia and cultural icon.

Very evocative review.
"a fox that feeds on its own flesh"
I have read a similar sentence in a book before, but I can't recall where.
Xiu Xiu A Promise
Voto:
From the review, it's unclear what genre Xiu Xiu plays. Do they play the ukulele or the electric guitar? Do they sing Neapolitan melodies or draw inspiration from traditional Eskimo songs? Well... it's fine to describe the feelings evoked by listening, but a minimal technical description wouldn't hurt.
Norah Jones Come Away With Me
Voto:
Really beautiful. Later on, Norah Jones slightly moves away from jazz, leaning towards blues and especially folk. I wish she would return to her roots, even though the other albums, particularly "Feels Like Home" and the latest "Little Broken Hearts," are truly excellent.

Very beautiful album. With 0304, which remains quite enjoyable, it has somewhat lost its way. Her country albums are well made but don't stand out for originality. Instead, I find her "lullaby" album published with Fisherprice very nice and underrated. As she herself says, it's not an album for children but simply collects songs that she considers relaxing.
