Another splendid game that never made it to Europe. I played it with an emulator, and the use of mechs was truly interesting, not to mention the characters and the storyline. Unfortunately, here in Italy, Xenosaga-2 arrived, the worst of the three, another series that I was really hoping to play.

Beautiful. Even though it draws a lot from Resident Evil, it has many original aspects, especially the use of magic. Great graphics for the time, particularly the second episode.

So many emotions in this game. The magnetic allure of Sephiroth, the death of Aerith, the anxiety over the impending catastrophe,... And how difficult it is to raise the chocobo, get the summon Knights of the Round, level up the Mime, and defeat the weapons...

I really enjoyed this game mainly for its gameplay, as it is rich in side quests. The settings are also beautiful and very fairy-tale-like, although the super deformed characters in the cutscenes were a bit unsettling. They resembled dwarfs out of a circus...

I really liked it precisely because of its adolescent atmosphere, which integrates very well with the events. The gameplay system, especially the junction system, was really well done and engaging. However, it's the only FF where I don't appreciate the protagonist. I detest gloomy characters.

The first series is very cute, gothic and at the same time ironic, and so is the second. Then, unfortunately, due to Angel, it turns into a kind of sickly sweet soap opera that's hard to digest.
