Well, I found this unnecessarily cryptic and cumbersome. The themes it should address, such as the malevolence of nature and of women, are presented in a rather clumsy and superficial manner, without guiding the viewer into reflection (it would take Bergman's mastery to tackle certain topics...). Moreover, it’s difficult to reconnect the pain stemming from the death of the child to these themes, even though this link seems to be present. The symbolism, especially regarding the animals, used by the director is also not very clear. In short, apart from the pure visual element and the performance of the two actors, this film definitely left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.

@63.
Actually, I paid 15.90. Advertising? I don't watch MTV and I hardly watch television in general. I heard "whenever wherever" on the radio years ago, I liked it, I bought the CD, I found it well-made for a singer considered commercial, and I also bought the subsequent ones. Believe me, I have not felt the hidden power of advertising even from a distance. I can repeat the same process for a "committed" singer or a metal band. I happened to see the video, recommended by a friend, and then I explored it on my own. I buy so few CDs that I hardly stop listening to them after 2 weeks.

I believe that the congenital selfishness of man can be overcome like many of his other flaws. Not necessarily through communism, which seeks to homogenize all citizens, claiming that they are all equal.

@55 Yideirita: try listening to Gwen Stefani's album "the sweet escape," especially the songs produced by the Neptunes. You can notice some similarities with those in "She Wolf." I was disturbed by Williams' homogenized sound, which only partially fits Shakira's style. "Why wait" seems a bit sterile to me compared to, for example, "Eyes like yours" from "Laundry Service," which evokes the same Eastern atmospheres. However, it's an album that, the more I listen to it, the more I appreciate it. "Long time" and "Good stuff" are richer in sounds than they appeared at first listen (the accordions and the gypsy rhythms). However, I think there is a noticeable qualitative leap between those 4 songs and the rest of the album.

I read the book and I liked it. The protagonist is a wretched character in the truest sense of the word, miserable, pitiable, and by the last pages, so sad that it makes your heart ache.

A new category of reviews should be added to move all the hormones that generate spam elsewhere. We could call it "de-erections."

I have never been convinced by this work. Sometimes I think that many authors hide behind the excuse of crypticity, passing it off as depth. I don't even share the pessimism that underpins absurdist theater.

Among other things, his first single is a sort of plagiarism. Even the track "Relax" from the first album borrows from "Just Died in Your Arms Tonight" by Counting Crows. The chorus of "We Are Golden," on the other hand, copies "Heaven is a Place on Earth" by Belinda Carlisle. Listen on YouTube to believe it.

I find it annoying for its exuberance, and compared to the Scissor Sisters, who make more or less the same music but with more skill, it gets eclipsed.

Boring and unlikely. Being a soap opera, it should talk about romantic relationships. I wonder how viewers manage to get excited and, why not, to identify with the characters, thus feeling part of their emotions, if they keep jumping from one bed to another constantly. That’s not love; it's emotional incoherence that, at the level of plot, becomes a highly contrived and sterile muddle.
