Katatonia Live Consternation

@Bonny...it's not that alternatives (in this case, me...you...as well as many others) should feel marginalized...the fact is that we are in the minority compared to the masses and consequently ignored...what I can't stand is the jerk who thinks that someone who prefers a nice pub or an indie concert to clubs is a loser...or who wants to fill you up if you have a leftist ideology...in my opinion, anyone can think what they want and dress as they see fit...but just like I don’t go bothering a techno fanatic, they shouldn't say anything to me...that's what makes me the angriest of all...

@lovelorn... you didn't like the review... that's all... I know very well that it has little to do with Katatonia... but I wanted to convey the kind of emotion this music gives me... another intention of mine was to let what I think of my peers today seep through... I also say that I've only been listening to gothic music for a short time, so I'm not exactly a well of information...
@alessio... thank you for encouraging me... I didn’t pay much attention to lovelorn's criticism because I found that when he says "out of place" he's also right... maybe if he had written it, it would have been theoretical... I was autobiographical and emotional...

Well... you actually got it right... many times I'm seen as a crazy person... because I try to form my own opinions about everything and (unlike at least 90% of my peers) I'm not a "green" or a "fascist"... I dress normally without expensive stuff and I don't have a phone that takes pictures... but I'm perfectly fine with that... in fact... sometimes living in solitude isn’t so bad... I’m happy to have friends who are in my situation... in a way I like feeling like... a loser convinced he’s still in the rebellious years... just to be clear, I like having ideals and not just thinking about the gifts to receive for my birthday or how to spend my money...

The guys weren't 15... they were already of legal age... anyway, it's not that rare... nowadays you find a ton of people like that... if it were up to me, I would have left... but my cousin isn't exactly a saint and so... well... what I described happened... I want to emphasize that I'm definitely not a troublemaker... on the contrary... I prefer to talk and resolve everything verbally... what I've described is just a really bad experience that happened to me... I even embellished it a bit to make it more intriguing... I also agree with Fidia... the genre of this band can't be precisely defined... gothic seems to me the least overexposed among all the components of metal, and even if I know it little, it's what I prefer...

Hello everyone... what I shared was inspired by a crazy Saturday night... but of course, I exaggerated a bit... responding to Vicent... Katatonia gives me that feeling of depression mixed with anger...

@alessio iride...the first album by Marlene that I listened to was "senza peso"...but before that I pretty much had almost all the songs from "catartica" or "il vile" and they drove me crazy...it wasn't easy for me to accept the change at first either...but as soon as I did, "senza peso" got into my ears and never left...same goes for "bianco sporco" and now for "uno"...the only one I still can't get into is "che cosa vedi"...a bit too soft for my taste...

I'm embarrassed about this... but unfortunately, I'm only just starting to listen to Radiohead now... I only have two spectacular songs and one of them seems to be from Kid A... maybe you'll kill me for this... but I wouldn't mind if they leaned a bit towards Italian progressive rock... like Banco or Pfm...

...Haha! You saw it right...I actually really enjoy this songwriter turn...hearing Godano whisper instead of shouting is magnificent...Anyway, the anger in this album hasn’t disappeared...in 111 the band really lets loose...as for the future, it’s extremely difficult to make predictions...I only think that they will do something no one expects from them...a bit like it was with uno, after all...However, I don’t think they will return to how they were at the beginning...they’ve now taken a well-defined path and I exclude the possibility of going back...You know...you’ve put a bug in my ear...who knows what the next album will be like...we can really expect anything...In any case, on Saturday I’m going to one of their concerts and there’s a meeting scheduled with fans and journalists beforehand...if I manage to get close to the band and get a bit familiar, I might try to find out what they have in mind...even though I strongly doubt they’ll tell me...
