I really enjoyed the review... very cinematic... just like the book, I gather... well... I'm interested, I'm interested... but what intrigues me even more is "Islands" by Aldous Huxley (for now my favorite author) that's been sitting on the shelf for quite a while...

Upon rereading it, the review doesn't seem to reflect on the passage of time... it seems more like a recounting of your day... and you devoted very little space to the concert... it's well-written, but it doesn't communicate much to me...

In seventh grade, I started playing... then I stopped... but I was probably too young to appreciate it... I would say it's time to pick it up again... and then Nabokov recently opened me up to Russian literature with Lolita...
