The review is written well, and my thoughts are more or less in line with telespalla... I'm not close to your political idea either... I have to say, though, that all these ultra-politicized groups (right or left) don't particularly appeal to me... often because they have really stupid and superficial ideas (like punkreas)... as far as I know these guys... even if they're musically capable... and just so you know, I also listen to the fears :)

I liked the movie...even though it might be a bit inconclusive...but maybe that’s the intent...I would like to read the book...Io non ho paura I liked so much...
CCCP - Fedeli alla linea Canzoni, preghiere, danze del II Millennio

@ubik... the politics around Modena is mostly a construction of the public... if you go read the texts, the ones that talk about politics aren't that many... bringing everything home and the great family, in my opinion, are among the most beautiful Italian albums... there was no rhetoric there... but a desire to truly express ideas... also, look at the intent with which one makes music... the CCCP in some way wanted to confuse your ideas and catch you off guard... the Modena are meant to entertain and maybe make you think...
Depeche Mode Touring The Angel - Live In Milan

I don't think it's an album that needs any more publicity from you... that said, I believe Depeche Mode lose a lot in a stadium setting... I would prefer to see them play in smaller, more intimate venues... although I realize that with their success, it's pretty much impossible...

As I see it, the CCCP didn't make politics their main point... they aimed primarily to confuse ideas, and even their political stance was ironic... Ferretti won't like it... but in terms of attitudes, I'd place them even closer to the Sex Pistols in some respects... the London quartet dressed with swastikas and anarchist pins... but it was all a joke... they were neither one nor the other... the CCCP, in a less marked and more reasoned way, did the same... they played at mocking... the phrase "tifiamo rivolta" from "trafitto", for example, can easily be misunderstood by any little Communist from a social center...

In my opinion, the first one still remains the best... the review didn't blow me away because you're talking about philosophical Soviet punk... a genre that's practically nonexistent, which the CCCP ironically claimed to belong to... the rest is well written... but that statement loses you quite a bit in my eyes...

It's true... in Everett True's biography, it says that he went to great lengths to retrieve the first record...

Is it really the record I’m looking for...but is it still original?
