The left here in Italy barely exists anymore... Franceschini is an ex-Christian Democrat, it seems to me... how can he be considered left-wing? The PD is made of the same stuff as the PDL... the only difference is that they claim to be on the other side... forget about talking in factories... here, no one moves from their little salons anymore... once the left was supported by the workers... now it’s the petty bourgeoisie... workers are voting for the League... but it’s normal and maybe even right that it is so... it’s Bossi who goes to talk to the workers... it’s Bossi who has fought more than once to prevent certain factories from closing (it recently happened very close to my home)... it’s the League that has ridden the wave of discontent and thus found a way to talk to the people... in a coarse way, of course... but they have no communication problems... I hate the League, and right now if I had to vote, I wouldn’t vote at all... but the evolution of things in a certain direction doesn’t sound wrong to me...

You're right... but what bothers me even more is noticing that there's no longer a certain opposition... I mean, the worker isn't angry with the employer for imposing inhumane work hours... they don't have a different mindset... they're just envious that the entrepreneur has everything and they don't... and if they were in the entrepreneur's place, they wouldn't try to change things... they would behave in exactly the same way as the entrepreneur does... this autumn I had a work experience (not a school internship) and I saw everyone cursing and getting angry at "the rich" and then arriving at work with a scratch card... moreover, nowadays you only hear people accusing you of being lazy because you complain if you have to stay beyond the established hours... it almost seems like there's an unnecessary desire to constantly prove oneself... almost a "work regardless"... and it's very sad to realize that work has become a reason for living... no longer a means of sustenance... what the hell... it was Hitler who said "work sets you free"... many years have passed... and we're still here believing it... of course, young people copy their parents and grow up with certain (non)ideas in their heads...

@stoney...the point is that nowadays if you think you are considered a good-for-nothing...an incompetent...a slacker...someone who looks for every excuse not to work...a housewife, the mother of a friend of mine, sees him sitting on the couch reading and says...go do something useful...it's an incredibly silly example :) but I think it reflects the mediocrity of today...I'm obviously referring to the last lines of your comment where you rightly explain that students attack thinkers...let's say they don’t want to stop for a moment to reflect and prefer to find a "job" such as passing themselves off as fascists and finding some excuse to beat up a black person or break a shop window for no apparent reason...these are scenes I see almost daily at school...

@brat...you’re absolutely right...I was talking about right or left-wing environments, not propaganda or worse, demagoguery...I said that some things coming from right-leaning environments do not bother me...it may be rhetorical and trivial...but good music and bad music exist everywhere...and in any place, there will always be the zetazeroalfa and the punkreas of the moment...

The zetazeroalfa suck... but there are right-wing people who aren't bad... I don't mind the DDT at all, for example... skoll (who is a very particular singer-songwriter) could almost be the right-wing Ferretti... the same "tracce" by 270bis isn't a bad album (the others suck) even though the lyrics sometimes sound a bit like some super-excited frontman... I don't believe that nowadays so-called "right-wing" music is worse than "left-wing" music and I reiterate that politics in music needs to be handled with intelligence... otherwise you end up like these... punkreas... 99 posse... dente di lupo (give them a listen for a good laugh) etc...

um elected... I meant the Alex from Brizzi in "Jack Frusciante è uscito dal gruppo"... not the one from "A Clockwork Orange"... I agree with what you say... my father told me that when "A Clockwork Orange" was released, many people blamed that film for the acts of violence happening at the time... and Kubrick himself was sued... and it’s awful to see a film like "A Clockwork Orange" being interpreted so superficially...
