Charles Baudelaire I Fiori del Male

@gasta... I think that if young people today read Moccia, it's solely the school's fault... Baudelaire and Rimbaud (especially the latter for me) are two authors that, when read as a teenager, can help you grow (maybe not in the best way :D)... they are close to us... to the adolescent world... instead, they are portrayed as priggish characters and intellectuals... I mean, come on... we're talking about an opium addict and a bisexual (probably an opium addict too :-)) who wandered around Paris getting into fights together (not literally together due to chronological issues, but you get what I mean :)) with other pals, and then at night they wrote (or at least that’s what I believe :D)... Les Fleurs du mal seems to have been published without some poems like Lesbo because they were considered too explicit, and now in current editions, they appear under the title "poems condemned"... dear Arthur finished writing, I believe, at 20 before retreating to Africa... I mean... are we realizing this, seriously? At twenty, people are still trying to graduate... and instead, at that age, he wrote things like the Illuminations... A Season in Hell and The Drunken Boat... and unknowingly changed part of the world...

@gasta… it may seem trivial… but it’s a matter of prof :-)... for me, for example, it makes my skin crawl to see my Italian teacher explaining Baudelaire… she who has always lived above books and books… what could she possibly know about a scruffy guy who walked around Paris drunk or stoned… coming back from some brothel… what could she know? … how could she perceive the essence of certain things? … she… who surely has never done anything dirty with her man (I’m sure of it) :D… anyway, I’m digressing… I just wanted to tell you that you have to live Charles… you can’t judge or criticize him… either he speaks to you or nothing… you ignore him… the same goes for Rimbaud and a ton of other people…

Gasta, you're right... usually Charles is studied in the fourth year (at least in the hospitality school)... but in my opinion, it shouldn't really be studied... not with the teachers I have :-)...

spend...I don't take myself seriously...I’m all about the non-seriousness...:D I just told you how I feel, raising my voice precisely because I’m NOT serious...it’s precisely because I’m NOT serious that I didn’t like your review...

no no... you should have left Charles alone... you can’t review him like that... in fact... you can’t review him at all... this after the drunken boat by Rimbaud is MY book... and you insulted it with a very cold analysis... well written, though... but absolutely useless... exactly like on my school book... it’s not your fault... I would treat all those who review books like this the same way... farewell...

The gig is nice... I have a friend who would do anything to come... I wouldn't have minded... but I'm not crazy in love with Placebo...

Incredible concert... the only downsides were seeing it pretty much only on the big screen and the first two songs played... including Badlands... at an absurdly low volume... Bruce still rocks live like crazy... and then he played Backstreets, which I absolutely didn't expect... truly great...
