I'm really into this record...especially because of that trance you added to the genres...it's a time when it hits me hard... :D

My father told me that Faber's last concerts were the ones that deserved the most... is it true?

Nice review... I like Blur... but they are one of those bands I can't imagine in such big places... anyway... who played before them?

Anyway, I saw the videos on YouTube and it doesn't seem to me that people didn't care about Deep Purple :D

The funny thing is that in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, there's an interview with Noel where he says he would have liked to pursue a solo career... then he concludes with "in the end, I am Oasis," and it really comes in perfectly... as if it were premeditated... anyway, I’ll stick up for Oasis by saying that no matter how banal... slack... or similar they may be... they write some beautiful songs... anyway, placing Deep Purple in their place... I mean... it wasn't the Gods of Metal, for fuck's sake... it's obvious that at a "Britpop" concert, most of the people don’t give a damn about a hard rock band... come on...

In my opinion, the cover of "Impressioni di Settembre" is only halfway successful... in the first part, they could have worked more on the instrumentality of the piece... and vocally, they should have distanced themselves from the original... because we know that Cristiano is not exactly an amazing singer (and he is indeed a bit embarrassing on the high notes)... however, the aggressive part works really well in my opinion... there it's maximum Marlenization and they've given a grit to the piece that the original didn't have... well... it plays more on the physical side than on the visionary one... but after all, the Marleni are originally a rock band with noise influences... so for me... they did well to put the guitars over the Moogs...

@lewis...I downloaded a file from Soulseek with all the demos...and I think "Signor Niente" is their best track...what do you think? I wonder why they never recorded it...instead of a greatest hits, they could have re-recorded better (or even not) the old tracks that were never included anywhere and made a collection (also because there are so many)...anyway, despite my young age, I've already seen them seven times :D...

5 to both of you... I can't live without seeing the Marlene at least 4 times a year :D... live they are something exceptional... whatever they play... have you noticed that dear Cris has shaved his beard and has the bob he used to sport? :D... maybe that's why you liked them... after all, you are a nostalgic :-)
