mythical... I wish I could have been there too... even if aside from distance and stenchman I don’t know anyone... hey, do you know trance? If so, can you recommend something cool that’s not Tiesto, Astrix (great)... Infected Mushroom or Van Buuren? :-D

Yes karma... you think like me... muses in general are quoters... that's why they make me sick...

karma...sorry but I didn't quite get it...this album sucks for me too (like all those by Muse except for Showbiz)...what do you mean by bad taste?...I didn't quite understand what you're trying to say...for me, bad taste means everything and nothing...I mean...are you judging the intentions (so you're criticizing the group in their "ethical" approach to the album and let's stick to the theory) or do you simply not like it as a work (I mean the sound...what it actually is) or do you have an issue with both (like I believe)? It's not a provocation...I'm just curious to understand...because you're the first one who seems to think like me :)...au revoir...

As an idea, it wasn't bad at all...but perhaps it's too focused on the punk girl...I think Patton is one of the most multifaceted singers in history...and here, alongside the guitarist from Mr. Bungle, he really let loose...you didn't mention "Star A.D." which, as far as I'm concerned, is the most eclectic track on the album...that costs you a point in my book =D

this album is really awful... the production is the only redeeming quality... the rest is crap... the Modena are done but they still rock live... regarding the political discussion, I’m sorry to admit I agree with Chaosa... Franceschini makes me even angrier than Berlusconi... he can't string two sentences together without making you wonder if he really believes what he’s saying... it’s unbelievable... honestly, I wouldn’t have voted in the elections... I know I would have played into their hands... but really... between PD and PDL I honestly don't know who is worse off... it’s true that you have to try to figure out what is less bad... but here there is only the worst... no more or less :D... voting for minor parties may save one’s personal pride but it’s pointless...

@avvelenata... Bellamy has an amazing voice, but it doesn’t drive me crazy either... and the problem is that a big part of Muse's music is based on that... and for me, the singing is the last thing I pick up (except for The Veils :D)... they have so many great ideas... but they lack the ability to realize them... and instead of coming to terms with the fact that they are not exactly geniuses, they just don’t care and make albums that are not only boring but also pretentious... the funny thing is you hear their most extreme fans and you think << damn... this is my favorite band >> then you listen and obviously end up disappointed... :-)

I think like you... the only salvageable things are the dizzying shots that give you a headache... the rest I didn't like...

I would have liked to be there...witchcult today I like (besides being the only one of theirs that I've listened to)...I knew that jus doesn't like to tour...maybe that's also why they don't do it often...see you tomorrow :-)

I don't know, rebel... I personally think it's better... then again, it matters that it's the only album of theirs I've listened to without any idea of what it might be like... while the other two were both presented to me as amazing albums... but they weren't... and they were two terrible disappointments... I don't consider them a shitty band, though :D... in all of mainstream, Muse is a good group... but I think there are better ones out there...

I will definitely listen to it... even though by now the Muse have become my personal daily disappointment... apart from the first album (which is really good), the others are subpar... and the funny and sad thing is that friends... magazines and everything else always describe them to me as masterpieces... a renewal of rock... experimentation... then I download it... listen to it once and think... << well... it doesn't seem that great to me... but maybe if I listen again some nuances will emerge that I hadn't noticed... after all, great albums usually don't go down easily, right? right! >>... second listen... << meh... it still feels like the same old song from last time... no, actually it sounds even more predictable... no... it's not that I need to listen better... it’s just that under that black smoke there’s no roast... not even a burnt slice... nothing >> in the meantime, I give up and a classic afternoon rolls around with nothing to do, and I try once more to listen to this damn album that everyone paints as amazing but for me continues to suck... so... third listen (and last)... the first track starts... ends... I close WMP and trash it all... and this happens PUNCTUALLY with Muse... maybe with this one (which by the way intrigues me after reading the interview in Rolling Stone)... who knows :D
