The long preamble of this review is a fair of stereotypes. Maybe I take myself a bit too seriously, but apart from the critiques of globalized society, I see no fun in mocking others with old, worn-out jokes (the one about the stinky Manowar t-shirt could have been spared entirely…). Why, instead of wasting your time on such nonsense that only, indeed, the Manowar could think of by now, didn’t you focus more on the album that is certainly a nice punch to the stomach? Cheers.

So. You had asked me to come and read your review of "Lemuria," and here I am. As for the album, I have nothing to say since it’s one of my all-time favorites, so my rating is a given. Regarding you, however, I can sense a lot of passion. An exuberant passion for Therion, and that makes me very happy. If I may suggest something, though, I believe you should read your review several times before publishing it. At certain points, I felt a bit lost. But these are minor transgressions. Don’t worry about it. Maybe, if you can and if you think it’s a good idea, try to publish reviews of Therion albums that haven’t been written about by others yet. After all, their vast discography has everything and more (but there’s certainly no Symphonic Black Metal in "Lemuria." How did you come up with putting it among the genres?).
Congratulations, to wrap it all up; and see you soon.

The album is beautiful, the review is comprehensive even though it takes time to read. But I don't blame you for its length; I understand well that when something is enjoyable, you want to share it with others. It's a right and proper attitude. Moreover, reading it has also given me an irresistible urge to listen to this album again, and the credit goes entirely to you. I hope to read you again and often, then. Truly congratulations.

Thank you for the greetings. In fact, I haven't resigned from anything, but it's undeniable that I haven't written here in quite a while. My biggest problem is always facing the tyrant of time and the reluctance that sometimes overtakes me.
Thank you again and see you next time.

"The growl really seems to come from the depths." I dive right in, for Odin! I must confess I've never even heard their name, but I'll make sure to inform myself right away. I promise to let you know after. Good job.

"The cry of Malefic is the torment of a crow deflated of hope that, worn down by the flames, throws itself into the muck to extinguish them." I wrote that down on my calendar! Damn, a review like that must surely embed in the reader's mind that yes, this album must have "its reason." One must be convinced of it. I'm not crazy about Xasthur; I prefer something less "inert" (I know, it's a dirty word), but certain moments of this work are truly from the encyclopedia of extreme and depressed music. Yet, damn it, why do you always bring up "Filosofem"? This is precisely why I gave it a 4: not because I can't stand the Count, but because dedicating three paragraphs to another work in a review doesn't seem to add much to the synthesis. Nonetheless, well done.

Well... to get an idea of the album, just go to their Myspace page and listen to 4 out of the 8 songs included in the album. Then, the difficult judgment is up to each one...
