Black Sabbath Vol. 4

And this would be a review? Well....
Black Sabbath Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

I'm annoyed by all those "cool" guys lined up next to each other.
I'm sorry, but they clash with my aesthetic sense, and thus the pleasure of reading your review.
Doom:VS Aeternum Vale

And anyway, this one from Doom:VS is no small feat either. In fact, it manages to blend gothic elements with Funeral very well. But I’ve already said that.

Alright. Two titles. Hard to say, there's an abyss of valid bands.
Anyway, I definitely recommend "Angels of Distress" by Shape of Despair; even though it's a "new generation" work, it conveys the idea well. And to dive into the purest monolithic sound, certainly "Feeding The Abyss" by The Funeral Orchestra: simply catastrophic, and I might talk about it soon as well.

I must tell you the truth, dear Tepes, I have only caught a glimpse of the Esoteric and therefore cannot make hasty judgments, but as far as I remember, I found them quite valid. Instead, for Deathinaugust, well, if you're looking for rockiness and the necessary "rawness," I don't think you'll find it in My Dying Bride and similar bands, but, as Hellring rightly pointed out, listening to Chatedral you will find something (but not similar to Funeral, of course).
Doom:VS Aeternum Vale
Voto:
For Hellring: I know Until Death Overtakes Me since I listened to their "Preludium to Monolith" some time ago, but I have to be honest, I didn't find them very exciting, given their (his, since it’s a one-man band) pronounced, and in my opinion excessive, avant-garde and minimalist attitude. After all, listening to songs that average twenty minutes without even hearing a drum hit can be tiring (or boring, you decide). However, I haven't listened to the one you mention, and I will try to get it; if I like it, I will certainly write about it.
For Lethe: it must be said that "Funeral" is a subgenre of Doom itself (and you know this, of course), but it can be confidently stated that it is more extreme and slowed down, so if you already find the Doom atmospheres sometimes tedious and repetitive, then listening to Funeral might leave you bewildered, and, as in the case of Deathinaugust, disgusted. Anyway, if you want to start listening to it, I can only recommend, in my opinion, Shape of Despair (but mine is a biased judgment since I love them a lot), or Skepticism, who along with Funeral themselves are considered the fathers of the genre. However, the list is quite long: even Tyranny, Thergothon, and Disembowelment are very fascinating realities, so there’s plenty of choice.
For Tepes: I'm glad your tastes align in some ways with mine. Do you also happen to like Khanate?
Extrema The Positive Pressure
Voto:
Sorry, you talk about Extrema as a band "at the origins of Italian thrash metal," I wonder if you are aware that some time before, another Italian band, now disappeared, was offering a truly groundbreaking synthesis. You don't know In.Si.Dia, also known as Inviolancy?
I don't think so, and anyway, the review, while very passionate, is a bit too brief. I intend to write another one.

Funeral Doom played by Wrest??? Incredible!
However, I consider it primarily within the realm of Black Metal, but that's just my opinion.
Korn Follow The Leader
Voto:
Start a blog. That way, you can write all the reviews you want without clogging up the DeDatabase. As for Korn, I have nothing to say that could be considered civil courtesy, so I’ll refrain. Just please, don’t compare them to Slayer; it gives me hives...

I'm sorry Ocram, I promise that for Christmas I'll give you a truckload of apologies, of course in Black/Doom/Death style....:-)).
Tepes: too much grace. I'm still laughing at your Deicide review....
