Chris Columbus Mamma Ho Perso L'Aereo

But why does Poletti think that whenever a recent film references typical situations from the past, it has to be a blatant copy? To me, a film that pays homage to the old Warner cartoons is commendable, if only for the challenge of bringing them to the screen. We can agree that it’s not a masterpiece of originality in comedy, but there aren’t many of those around!

the dance scene with the piano and the stormy sea is fabulous. not a masterpiece, but a great film.

I agree, but you are your usual exaggerator (mereghettiano!). 1 for the review because you can't write without doing your homework: the kid is named macaulay (not mckallister) culkin; the mother, catherine o'hara, is not at all the actress who played dana skully (not skelly) who is in fact gillian anderson. A 3 for the film, though: because it's a well-made children's comedy and because chris columbus is a wizard at creating a gothic and fairytale-like Christmas atmosphere that is absolutely memorable. The film has the limitations of a large American production, and therefore it excessively leans into sentimentality in a cloying way.

the review is poorly written. not to rail against you, but punctuation in Italian has its rules... beyond that: I also disagree with the content. the film is entertaining, sure, but all your enthusiasm seems out of place. in short, it is definitely a symbol of the sexual revolution we are all very grateful for, but you can't give a 5 to a film just for what it symbolizes! if we want to look at the film itself, 'rocky horror picture show' is a somewhat quirky and disjointed musical, with good songs, often poorly sung, dance numbers that are too chaotic... in short, as a good b-movie, it retains all the charm of being 'homemade,' but it shouldn't receive a rating that should be reserved for masterpieces.

sure, though... I prefer salad to Beethoven and Sinatra, and raisins to Vivaldi, because they give me more calories!

well, that’s not bad either punisher: I love you because I need it, not because I need you...

Simpson (fini) and Griffin (smargiassi) aside: I was utterly disappointed by Shrek, which sketches the fairy-tale parody without the courage to push it all the way. In fact, this film ends up being much more moralistic than many classic Disney films ('Bambi,' 'Dumbo,' 'Alice in Wonderland' have far more dramatic content, and they weren’t afraid to tackle difficult themes for children like the loss of a mother, racism, sex, and drugs). Shall we talk about the animation? The characters are roughly drawn and the graphic technology is infinitely inferior to that of Pixar. This is a problem that could be resolved with a well-written script: another thing that Shrek lacks. Shall we compare the dialogues and situations of this film to masterpieces like 'Finding Nemo' or 'The Incredibles'? Embarrassing...

do you understand what I mean, fusillo? very often critics like mereghetti, but also morandini, give interpretations of films that go against the director's vision... frankly, it's absurd! it's the same discussion about the nonsense that is said regarding the paintings of van gogh or gauguin.

Poletti, don't take this as an offense, but I noticed your faith! Mereghetti, in my opinion, makes a mistake, which is the same mistake that many critics make: he shows a sense of omnipotence, often taking for granted that he is right. I believe this is a disadvantage for him because, especially in art, there are as many judgments as there are spectators, and rarely can we define with certainty where the truth lies. Just look at how divided the reviews are on a film like this! And yet, it's not true that one side or the other is culturally ignorant (I don't think that's the case) and therefore wrong!
