but do you know Faith Hill?! my god... that plastic country-pop blonde... I mean, as long as you’re doing a cover of an idol of yours, that’s fine, but then why not sing a piece of Britney too!!!

Why ruin a beautiful discourse on cinema with such ridiculous questions? There should be a regulation that prohibits this on this site... otherwise, people will get bored of coming to read.

obscene cover! turci: very very bad for a very very long time. to say the least, hated during the cover period in Italian (grantnicholas 'questione di sguardi' is a cover of 'this kiss' by faith hill... I mean!!! the aunt of jessica simpson and shania twain...). then she changed and turned to rock, but how did she do it? she copied carmen consoli (yes... first she collaborated with her, and then she started to copy): there was that single where she said fuck you to be nonconformist, if I were carmen I would have sued her for plagiarism!!! then fortunately she changed again, and what a change... 'dimentichiamo tutto' is really very very beautiful, the rest of the album I don't know, but she has finally found a role that suits her. as for the muld prejudices on this site, you have to learn to live with them peacefully, even if they are a sign of great superficiality.
Quentin Tarantino Grindhouse: Death Proof - A Prova di Morte

Well... okay, Italian cinema isn't the best, we can all agree on that! But coming from someone who considers that grand piece of cinema, *Ubalda*, to be the pinnacle of our film industry, it's offensive and out of place! Tarantino will keep picking up feet, breaking up plots, making blood splash, and paying homage to genres with a classically hypocritical American attitude (which means: he pays homage to B-movies with blockbuster productions and distributions in the same system as Titanic and *The Lord of the Rings*). The truth is, he was a novelty in the nineties, he fascinated everyone with his ideas, but now he’s showing that he was just a soap bubble!

Poletti, I agree with you... I don't even know if I should watch it! This thing about quotes is really becoming predictable and repetitive. Then Verdoni is right: someone who says Bombolo is a genius and that the entire contemporary Italian cinema is worthless shouldn't even be taken into consideration! Tarantino, what have you done?! You were so good back during your "Iene" and "Jackie Brown" days!

hahahaha you’re the best! ghemison I hope I’ve explained myself better now, anyway you’re right, I tend to exaggerate sometimes. as for tarantino, after the production of hostel I’m almost afraid to watch his grindhouse... I no longer have any hopes, even kill bill was hiding the lack of ideas in the screenplay with a handful of colorful situations more useful for sponsors than for the film’s economy!
Chris Cornell Carry On

Jon Deleo live had quite a few problems, and I've heard him a couple of times. Low notes much less harmonious and high notes not well controlled (check out some Sanremo performances on YouTube and you'll notice). I was told he has retired. Still, it would be a shame! Regarding the notes and the high notes in the studio, I can say this: if you can only rehearse one song in a day, a perfect version will come out, right? Let's not forget that Chris Cornell uses effects and post-production tricks that would make Muse pale in comparison! And with good reverb, miracles can happen, scout's honor!

ah... and on Kubrick or Antonioni: psychedelic, yes, of course, but in a different period above all, and especially for particular reasons, never to add color to the film! they are just two examples that demonstrate what I meant...
