elected you nailed it... I think it's mentioned in the credits though. I said it's very clever! he brought together the frankie goes to hollywood and the cuttin crew... but no one can say it's plagiarism, because in reality it isn't! cumbersome... you know...

I heard Mika live, and in my opinion, he doesn't sing that well... maybe it's because he jumps around like a little rooster (or a hen) all the time and his voice shakes...

more or less you think like me, even if I was less kind in my review! You’re absolutely right though: in the list of 'influences' for the patchwork-like Mika, I completely forgot to mention Mr. Darkness (Justin Hawkins was that long-haired screamer from a couple of years ago therealramona). 'Love Today' is plucked straight from the pot of English darkness, there's no denying that... definitely, after the launch single, it's the second track on the album. The most impactful. Although, like the rest, so cunning it makes you feel a bit queasy...

Whitney's music really suffers from her age... back then she was the epitome of fashion, but precisely because of that, she wasn't able to survive! I still consider this woman one of the greatest black voices ever, if only she had sung a repertoire worthy of such talent... what an enormous waste!

great and cool Mario Venuti! A man with unmistakable charm... too bad about the lack of success.

hahahahaha Max Pezzali... I'm amazed by the serious tone you used in this review, as if the topic were seriously worth discussing... I believe there's a difference between records and objects, and this belongs to the latter category. It's plastic, not music! Nothing against music for teenagers, nothing against the annoying yet lucrative summer hits, for heaven's sake... there are people in the world who need to listen to that stuff. But for a man from a summer hit, not even one of the best (better to listen to Raf or TZN Ferro, right?), to become a lasting phenomenon like Mr. 883 is frankly embarrassing! It should have lasted a summer, and we would all remember him as the cute toothless guy from the province who cried for Peter Parker... instead he gets fat, gets his teeth fixed, loses his hair, and sings with the usual lightness the same old children's songs. I can't explain the phenomenon, is there a solution?

ok tricky, Carmen Consoli is a fool, she says a bunch of nonsensical nonsense, she talks about Sicily when she doesn't know a damn thing about it, and, above all, she quotes R.E.M. and their silly electrified mandolins! now I got it ;-) long live music and down with principles, byebye

Didn't you say you knew her music? Go back and check out some live performances (especially from the last tour) and tell me if you don't hear the typical 'vibrato' mandolin from southern Italy... then do you really think she would praise the mandolin from the places where she was born, fully aware that she's playing another one in a way that doesn't belong to her tradition? How do you explain that no one has ever cried scandal (starting with the Sicilians, who adore Carmen and her 'sicula' music)? Anyway, for me this discussion has gone on long enough, as we'll never reach an agreement! By the way, the review is about Donà... nice, talented, and even my neighbor ;-)

The music of Carmen Consoli is full of Italic sounds! She's the only one in Italy making rock with mandolins... obviously, we don't see eye to eye, but that's okay ;-) To wrap up the discussion peacefully with everyone, as any good politician likes to do, I will remember one of the most worthy Italian singer-songwriters of the past: Rettore... how could I not think of her! She is truly noteworthy!
