Oh, I'm going to Torre del Porticciolo, which just happens to be a stone's throw away. I'll pay attention to sa conca (p.s. passionate advice: if you decide to review the tenores, read something by Pietro Sassu).

North was a nice album and this one isn't bad, mind you; it just isn't always brilliant. However, the opening track—try listening to it; I think that in the link more info there are samples of all the songs, if I remember correctly... it's hot here too, and my memory falters :) Ah wanderer, if you get the chance, listen to the CD he made for Deutsche Grammophon with Anne Sofie Von Otter; I think it was called "for the stars." Bye.

Last Saturday, I saw Andrea in concert at the Forte della Maddalena in Alghero. It was a touching evening because his thin, sickly face was quite striking; his version of the Ave Maria was splendid. Well, I'm heading to where you know, bye :)

I shouldn't be offended; if anything, it would be up to the supreme one to turn in their grave :) As for the rest, I can't really say, but as I mentioned, the topic honestly doesn't excite me, which is why I don't even bother thinking about it. Bye :)

iside if you had followed the trail of comments I left in here over three years, you would already know what I think about the topic you're raising, which - I confess - doesn't excite me. Then again, everyone has their own perspective on it; mine, potentially in line with symbad's, I don't expect to be adopted by everyone. Not having listened to the new one from nouvelle vague, I wouldn't know frantz, maybe you had it even worse ;) Haloa

Nicola, isn't it tiring to be on the other side of the mirror? Oaic. Well, *sfascia* the thing is easily solvable; if you want to listen to something when I pass by your place, I'll put a couple of Costello records in the car so you can get an idea, or you could swing by Berchidda for Time in Jazz... have you seen the program, or not? It's hard to understand what's more or less **symbad**, after all that touch was there in other records, this could have been fine as it is. The problem is that there are two or three splendid pieces, but others felt weak to me. Perhaps this mix of London and New Orleans wasn't easy to realize, maybe it needed a bit more time, considering the project was put together very quickly from what I've read. Or maybe it just wasn't possible to do better than this. Oh, for the record, a curiosity: I read that this is the first record made in New Orleans after Katrina; as for the reliability of that news, I don't know anything, but it seems to me like a publicity stunt. @ fidia: thanks. Ah, I have been wanting to write a few words about Live In Tokyo for a while now, but every time I get stuck; perhaps I care too much about that album and I'm afraid of doing it a disservice. Anyway, I misspoke earlier; I meant to say that I talked about the book in some review with someone some time ago. It's me who's got the arteriosclerosis because I can't remember which review and with whom ;)
