Fabrizio De Andrè / Premiata Forneria Marconi In Concerto Vol. I e II

I read quickly, but the review (which is well-written nonetheless) leaves me with some doubts; I might read it again at another time.

I feel like giving you one because I've grown tired of hunting for your proposals uselessly :) anyway, I'm checking the samples.
The Czars Before... But Longer
Voto:
"Do you know the Czars?" Sure, and it's precisely because of that beautiful version of Song to the Siren that you mentioned, which I had "discovered" in a Buckley tribute collection whose title escapes me. Then I found one of their cover albums a few months ago, "Sorry, I Made You Cry," where I also came across a lovely version of My Funny Valentine. However, I'm not familiar with this album, so I'll note it down and run.
Serge Gainsbourg Couleur Café
Voto:
Sometimes I don't love compilations, but I have to say that it's better to have a beautiful original collection like this one to pay tribute to Gainsbourg than other projects. I actually heard an album titled "Monsieur Gainsbourg revisited," a compilation featuring artists like Franz Ferdinand, Cat Power, etc. that seems interesting on paper but ultimately feels weak, perhaps even unnecessary. It’s better to stick to the original songs, or if you want to dive into covers, better to go for the old tributes by Mick Harvey (intoxicated man and pink elephants). Bye bye.
Charlie Haden Nocturne
Voto:
Gorgeous record, but haden has the rare ability to combine quality and quantity. It’s hard to keep up with his productions, but it’s always worth it. This record didn't grab me at first, but little by little, I've come to appreciate it more and more; the same thing is happening to me with the solo piano album by Gonzalo Rubalcaba that came out this year – perhaps it's no coincidence. Flawless review, but by now it’s pointless to say it :) Post scriptum: citing LMO brings Carla Bley to mind, whom I heard in concert this summer... it seems that no one has ever reviewed one of her works; we need to fill that gap.
Marco Felicioni & Maurizio Di Fulvio A Flight Of Fugues
Voto:
Sometimes, Zarathustra, the presence in a review depends on the moment in which it is published; other times, a niche proposal may discourage the audience. In this case, perhaps both are true, but don't get discouraged because little by little, it is possible to stir more attention even for proposals like these. I await the samples because I'm very interested in giving a small listen to this work, which appears valid and also very varied from the reading. If you have issues with the sample settings, feel free to write me a message; I might be able to help you. Bye.

If I have a chance to hear them, I won't miss Socrates, even though the reading of the review gave me the impression that they might not be right for me, haloa.

A concert by Paolo Conte is a must-see even if he might be a bit tired today.

Effective summary. They played around my area a long time ago but I missed the opportunity; perhaps this record can fill - besides the gap - also the regret.
