Listening to the samples while reading gives a clear idea of this proposal; the Brechtian atmospheres seem evident... really interesting fusillo, thx.

If you're searching for cagnulari, head towards that of G. Cherchi in Usini or the one in Santa Maria La Palma. The latter is an interesting winery that is growing in both variety and quality profile. Haloa (ps: is it a coincidence that this review talks about wine? Maybe not?)

I don't know this record, apart from a few famous tracks that you can't escape. After all, I've always listened to and appreciated E. John in bursts. I recognize him as a creator of good pop melodies, but he has never won me over. A fundamental prejudice? Well, maybe, there's no denying that. Perhaps I'll change my mind in the future, for now, I prefer the review to the reviewed.

I read an interview with Danny a few days ago. Question: "What does the music business mean to you?" Answer: "I'm not a businessman, I can't even make a phone call." Well, that’s Danny Cohen.

Yes, it works!!! You just need to know how to use it. I was familiar with other works by Tristano, but this one had escaped me. Luckily, this recommendation came along. Bye and thank you again :)

Vinicio Capossela Nel niente sotto il sole
Voto:
A few weeks ago, during the carnival, Vinicio Capossela spent a few days around here. He’s practically a local by now, having recorded parts of Ovunque proteggi here and having performed a concert last summer under the shadow of the Ogliastra hills. His stay in Sardinia, primarily due to his friendship with the musician Gavino Murgia, led to him being awarded honorary citizenship in Ottana, a small village in the Nuoro region. The reason for this recognition stems from the fact that in his latest album, Capossela used the mask of the "Boes" from Ottana to embody the minotaur ("Brucia troia"), thus being acknowledged as an ambassador of this mask in the world. The mask, somewhat unsettling, is handcrafted and carved from wood, characterized by long horns and evokes archaic and ancestral meanings, the same ones present in "ovunque proteggi," well represented by this live performance. Furthermore, wearing the mask gave the singing a cavernous effect that I thought was perfect for that piece. The cover (from Gabri, it’s not indecent), showing Capossela wearing the aforementioned mask, thus synthesizes and symbolizes these meanings of the album. I also saw the concert of this tour last year, and I had a blast. For me, ovunque proteggi is Capossela's most complex, beautiful, and interesting album. This live recording doesn’t add much, but it’s worth buying. One curiosity: The same type of mask was given years ago to the English screenwriter Alan Moore; it could only interest a shaman. Haloa
