Hello tiny, the risotto didn’t burn and was honored as it should be :)) as for the rest, you are absolutely right, keep in mind that I wrote it totally on the spur of the moment, also because it seemed completely pointless in this case to dwell on reasoning more than necessary, after all it is and remains a cover album that may or may not appeal, but all in all it seemed honest in its easily criticizable intentions. Regards to everyone else, I don’t know what the cover means, but I doubt the truthfulness of the interpretation proposed by c'è. Happy May 2nd :)

Good afternoon, thanks to everyone who joined later, especially enjoyed the reading of Vitalogy (thx). As for Björk's tracks, I put Helpless at the top, but you already know that. I don't quite understand how the discussion has evolved, but it is known that this is also debaser :)) feel free to continue, as I'm torn between the concert at Piazza San Giovanni (a bit disappointing so far...) and preparing a radicchio risotto. Oh, I almost forgot... I wanted to tell nofake (thx again) that "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" is a song that I never really loved; its presence surprised even me (the same goes for Nirvana, to be honest), but in this version, with this voice and these arrangements, I liked it. Sorry for the rush, the risotto is burning. Haloa :)

Good morning and happy May Day, thank you all for the mixed opinions, which I must say I expected to emerge from this review written on impulse after reading Bjork's yesterday. Perhaps this highlights once again that there are many ways to approach listening to an album and that every judgment depends on the reference parameters that each person chooses. All in all, I find myself very much in agreement with poetareiner, unsure if they are the most accurate. I only know that in these past few weeks this album has kept me good company, has accompanied me for hours, has made me reflect on many beautiful songs, some of which are very important to me. I enjoyed rediscovering them in different guises. I don’t feel the need to ask for more from it, and it didn’t seem sensible to me to spend more words, which in the end wouldn’t add anything to the idea I have of this work. Hello everyone :)

Did you really not like el guevo? I found it visceral; maybe I appreciated it because it broke the natural flow of my listening.

It doesn't happen to me often either, but when it does, it's nice. I'm glad that the purchase recommendation didn't disappoint you, boredom and mariaelena, thank you for coming back to share your thoughts. If then - mariaelena - you like Lanegan's voice, now you have a whole new world to explore. Bye :)
