I don't know if you'll like her as a rock chick :) . She's a singer steeped in jazz. I like her early albums (like “Blame it on my mouth”) and I don't mind the cover album of Tom Waits she mentioned. Lately, though, I find her a bit cheesy. Can you believe that two years ago she released a Christmas album (Baby It's Cold Outside) dressed as Santa Claus on the cover? An album that would fit right into Auchan's Christmas advertising flyers . . .

Open tunings: I wish I could play the guitar or any other instrument Mr_Iko, then I might know what you’re talking about. Google helps, but it doesn’t take away the regret. Bye

In my opinion, Kurz cliff did well to write this review. It’s the review of an “instinctive” listener, like many on this site. I found cliff’s account interesting and was amused by the thought of his disappointment while listening to this album for the first time. It has happened to everyone at least once. However, not everyone is capable of overcoming the initial disappointment and their own prejudices. If I had accidentally bought a metal album, I might have gone back to the store to exchange it, or maybe not. Who knows. I've come to understand that I’m not very interested in the album, also because I don't really like Vivaldi; I find him a bit repetitive. There was a sacrilegious (and excessive) joke by the Osiris band about this that I found amusing: “Vivaldi wrote over 400 concertos, more or less all the same: that’s why he was nicknamed ‘the ‘scaldavivaldi’.”
