AA.VV. Non più i cadaveri dei soldati (un omaggio a Fabrizio De André)

Thank you TRaxxer, nice comment. "Canti randagi" was better in my opinion, too bad it's out of production. I listened to Faber-Amico Fragile, but it left me puzzled, especially due to Celentano's interpretation (sigh!). I'll get it for charity. Bye.

Listened to fleetingly. It doesn't sound bad, but the line between inspiration and mere photocopying seemed very thin. I need to listen to them again more calmly. Thanks anyway for the heads up. 4 balls to the disc rounded for excess.

Anyway, there are a thousand versions of Oblivion. Among my favorites is the guitar version by Al di Meola, then that of Gidon Kremer. The orchestral version by Galliano with the soloists of the Orchestra della Toscana is the one I love the least. However... maybe... I don’t know... I’ll go listen to it again. ;)

I, on the other hand, saw that live performance. It was truly magnificent. Their duets were incredible, they were practically chasing each other. Afterwards, I managed to appreciate the album that until that moment hadn't excited me.

It took me 3 days to properly read this review. I still don't understand if I liked it or if I need to stop smoking weed, or if you should stop, M@ynard!

As for distraction, we can lend a hand kurz ;) anyway, oblivion is one of my favorite pieces by Piazzolla, and last night while watching "La meglio gioventù," I had the chance to confirm it once again. It's a real shame that Galliano didn't include it in this album.

It may be, but more than an unauthenticated comment, the one above seems like genuine bullshit to me.

Well done, Rob. I don't know this album, but you've made me want to listen to it.
Scott Henderson Well To The Bone
Voto:
Dear Mr_Iko, unfortunately my knowledge isn't that extensive. What I know about Scott Henderson I owe to a dear friend of mine who attended the Los Angeles school mentioned. Occasionally he burns me some CDs, including Scott Henderson, but also others like John Scofield, Mike Stern, Zachary Breaux, and recently Pat Martino (the latest album with Joe Lovano is really beautiful), plus a thousand others I can't remember. I’ve just come back from his house, where he played me a ton of guitarists including the very interesting and elegant Jimmi Bruno. I also recorded a nice live album of Pat Metheny, Dave Holland and (listen to this) Herbie Hancock. Friendships work better than various winmx. Now I see your reasoning more clearly. Bye.
