AA.VV. A Quentin Tarantino Film - Kill Bill Vol. 1 - Original Soundtrack

Dolls was much better than Brothers (funny, especially when the mafia gets angry). Anyway, I like both: Tarantino and Kitano. No incompatibility. If someone wants to jerk off the other, well, have fun.

I don't know, but it seems interesting, even though the fact of being esteemed in Belgium doesn't tell me much positive; it has always seemed like a sad country to me.

You're welcome, Kosmo. For everyone: if there's a concert of his happening near you, I recommend you don't miss it. I saw him perform with his full ensemble. I was with some suspicious rockers who had a blast. He's a bit of a crazy musician, but absolutely extraordinary and fun.

The fact is that that album, more than being bad, wasn't what I expected, a bit like what happened to you. Surely today it would have a different impact on me. Damn, so many years have passed. I'll definitely keep the advice in mind, thanks.
UNKLE Never, Never, Land

I join G_à. Take it, it's worth it. In my opinion, it's nicer than Never Never Land. I haven't found it again and had to settle for a copy. . sigh.

You reminded me of an episode from many years ago. As a fifteen-year-old jazz novice, I naively bought (special price!) a record by Herbie Hancock. I don’t remember exactly which one. Maybe it was Future Shock. Knowing only “Cantaloupe Island,” being catapulted into music that was absolutely different was a real shock. It was one of the few times I asked for and actually got to change the record. Who knows, maybe today my reaction would be completely different.

"Review for insiders".... :) is a nice and courteous way, thus unusual, to express a critique, so it deserves a timely and equally polite response. It’s clear that the need for brevity requires making choices, but in this case, in fact, little to nothing is said about Uri Caine, even though the hope in writing is to spark curiosity rather than be exhaustive. However, you can find something in the following links: www.emilianet.it/database/emilianet /emilianet2.nsf/ 0/25882ad79d1de8efc1256dac003588d6? OpenDocument ; www.de-baser.com/recensionidb/ID_13 98 ; www.uricaine.com/biography.html The first contains the presentation of the reinterpretation of Verdi's Othello and a brief biography of Uri Caine in Italian, the second reviews another work by the artist, and the third, besides the biography, this time in English, includes links that lead to summaries of Caine's other albums. Bye kosmo
