True, Kosmo, but it bothered me. Zappa deserved not so much a celebration, but an analysis of his history and music. Radio 3 did it in the best way possible. Those who do journalism should seize these opportunities. On the other hand, Italian journalism has been in free fall for a while now, unfortunately. Thanks again to you and Iko for the contributions; they will be useful to me too, not just for "..caz.. orecchie toste."

Anyway, Mr. Iko, I hoped this review would spark a conversation about Zappa, which is happening, and I’m glad. I was surprised that the tenth anniversary of his passing was largely ignored by the media. I heard a segment on TG3 and partially followed a special on Radio 3, then nothing. I found it unfair, absolutely unfair. If I think that many fans of Elio e le Storie Tese perhaps don’t know who Zappa is, it makes me sad. Kosmo is right; they should be playing his albums instead of those little prayers. Anyway, your contribution, Dr. Iko :) is just right... it’s just that choosing from Zappa’s discography isn’t easy; he made so many important albums, it’s like taking out a mortgage. But at least everyone should have Freak Out.
