I heard something on the radio the other day, nothing particularly interesting to be honest.

Good page as usual Grasshopper, but this time I warn you, more detached than usual, like an entomologist observing, fascinated yet controlled, a beetle through a microscope. For once, I would like you to loosen up a bit more. I mean, it would be nice if you told us not just about Mozart, but your "own" Mozart. Bye :)
Franca Masu Aquamare

Alghero is a regular destination for my weekend escapades, and the Santa Maria La Palma winery is a fixed stop, even if I prefer their red Cagnulari over the lobster. As for white wine, I prefer the Funtanaliras from Monti, which - take note - could be helpful for possibly reviewing Paolo Fresu since Monti is just a stone's throw from Berchidda. Regarding Franca Masu, I consider her a refined interpreter with an elegant style, a beautiful voice, and the intelligence to surround herself with good musicians. I've heard her in concert several times, and she hasn’t always captivated me, perhaps because singing this music requires the right mood, which isn’t always easy to find. That said, she is an artist who deserves more visibility and interest, especially because she has managed to blend the Catalan spirit and the sea breeze that envelops her beautiful and captivating city into her songs. Great suggestion and lovely review (but I have to point out your excessive use of capitals :) Bye :)

Every year at "time in jazz" there are gems like this one; unfortunately, I missed it. I had to choose, such a shame. That year (if I remember correctly, it was 2004, not last year when Sosa was present) I interviewed Fresu precisely on the subject of the festival. If you'd like to read his words, you can find the review in the interviews section. Nice review, too many ellipses though :) Bye

I listened to it, Aristarco, you were right, a great album "Lit" is wonderful!
Fabrizio De André La Buona Novella

In my opinion, Tito's testament represents the transition from the word of the Old Testament to that of the New Testament, from the direction given by God to the Jews to Christ's commandment of love. The review, on the whole, is more than honest and well done, even if it adds little to what was already present on the site between reviews and comments. However, there is a missing key term for reading the disc: humanity. The characters in the gospel in these guises emphasize traits of humanity in a much more pronounced way, a humanity that De André highlights with his poetry and connects to his fundamental themes. The live versions of the last De André are stunning, truly.

I didn't know about this album release, but I don't really feel like listening to it; it has worn me out a bit even though I don't exactly know why. So starting off with this mindset, I don't know how much I might be able to appreciate it; I might just end up burning the record, you know? For now, then, no, but maybe later—if I feel like it—I’ll try to give it a listen.

One of the films I've watched the most in my life and that I never get tired of rewatching. Aside from the beauty of the images, inspired by 18th-century painting, the relationship with music, the intertwining, the costumes, the stunning cinematography, what I hold dear is the final epitaph, a lesson not to be forgotten.

I don't know, donjunio, I should listen to it first (thanks for pointing it out). Anyway, it's difficult; what I felt like saying I've already said, but you could always remedy it excellently, bye.

Don't apologize, it's not necessary because your opinion is more than valid. You know FlagFelson, I usually don't like track-by-track analysis because it typically interests those who know the album while it can bore those who don’t, and if we assume that a review should draw as many people as possible to listen, then the choice often becomes (not always) mandatory. Thank you and goodbye.
