Beautiful the comics section, very true. Link added to favorites thx. As for the group you describe, I really don't know anything. Noise isn't really my strong suit after all :) However, it seems like an interesting proposal. Indeed, the review is quite intriguing.

On this beautiful site, you can find the lyrics and translations by Andrea (http://web.tiscali.it/tomwaits/), and you can also download the concert from Florence in '99 and "tales from underground vol. 5." Bye!

I took my time reading it. I had never read anything by them, so I guess I'll go back and check out the old issues of "Mucchio" and "Rumore." Great debut, Massimo. Welcome!

In my opinion, you judge "invitation .." (uhm..) too quickly and based on very few elements. 90 seconds of a sample is too little to assess an album as a whole ("... surely a terrible album"). That said, it is still legitimate to form a negative impression or idea from it. Try listening to it if you get the chance; you might even change your mind.

If you happen to be in Sardinia, Frantz and K, you might see really few concerts, but you can always go to the beach, which isn't too bad :)

Don't think of simple pre-packaged sketches, Kurz, but rather of constructing a theatrical-musical show, in the spirit of Buscaglione to whom "Guarda che Luna" was dedicated. I assure you that Rava, Bollani, and Pietropaoli's version of "Besame Mucho," for example, was incredibly beautiful even for these games. And Bollani truly surprised me with his ability to play along. A real showman. He demonstrated a remarkable ability to manage the timing of comedy with ease, which is not easy at all. To achieve this, one must rehearse and rehearse again. And I am still convinced that many "sketches" arose from their improvisation with each other. Only later were they refined and perfected. In short, a great musician, but not only that.

Nice review vv. I remain undecided about the cd; maybe before diving into these "side projects" I should get to know other albums better first. We'll see. Bye.

I saw Bollani and Rava perform last month in the show “Guarda che luna” dedicated to Buscaglione. Alongside them, the Banda Osiris, Enzo Pietropaoli, and Gian Maria Testa. Not just a concert, but a true musical theater show, where all these artists expressed their charm. Bollani's eccentricity particularly emerged with an incredible naturalness. The countless playful antics the pianist engaged in ranged from pretending to play a score, to impersonating Johnny Dorelli, to duets with Rava. The latter effectively played the role of the serious musician who continuously chided a crazed Bollani. These duets with Rava that you describe were identically present in the show “Guarda che Luna,” and I think they stem from the collaboration with the Banda Osiris, masters in this field. And I must say that I’m really pleased to know that the two have decided to take this experience with them and reprise it. It's true: simply magnificent. If they come to your area, go see them; you'll have a wonderful evening.
