Intriguing review, but I've also run out of funds for CDs, so for now, nothing. I hope to be able to listen to it later. Bye.

Ten beautiful minutes. The additions to the comments on the review are lovely, a five to share with everyone who wrote on this page. By the way, Kuper, did you know that there are traces of the fairy myth (janas) and Cinderella in Sardinia? It's one of the oldest contos in Sardinia. The roots of "La gatta cenerentola" are truly deep. If anyone is interested, "La gatta cenerentola" is published by Einaudi (Vhs + book). Bye.

I took a look at the discography; I didn’t think he had released so many albums. The only one I’ve picked up so far is the double live "So Much Shouting, So Much Laughter," which initially left me puzzled, but I had listened to it superficially. Then I reassessed it after reading a few reviews in here. An interesting character to explore. Nice review, welcome Petro.

I follow Nick closely; if it weren't for the lagna rock, we would have to invent it...

I thought I could take it with my eyes closed, but after reading it, I think I'm going to have to open them wide.

On Friday night I watched a video of this gentleman, Saturday morning I bought the record (but I only listened to it once) today I'm reading the review. This time I’ve backtracked a bit :) About a Boy had worn me out, but it was still a soundtrack, however unconventional. This record, however, seems different, better... for now four. Bye
Jolie Holland Escondida

After reading the review, I immediately got this album and it was a great decision, just like the review itself. Jolie Holland has been the beautiful soundtrack of this past week. But I think I will listen to it a lot more. What I liked the most about this album were some languid swing rhythms, in addition to Holland's voice. That reference to Billie Holiday is very appropriate. I didn't know that the album featured the team from Tom Waits. It's nice to know. And by the way, I hope you're pleased to hear that Tom Waits' new album will be released in the fall. The title is "real gone" (on Anti records) and it will feature Marc Ribot on guitar (hooray) and Primus bassist (!!) Les Claypool. Bye.

I read and reread these words, which I had never seen before on these pages, feeling a mix of emotions each time: disdain, disorientation, outrage, anger, and disbelief. I searched for irony within myself, but I couldn’t find it. The image of infibulation is so horrific that it drains the heart of every smile. Therefore, in this whirlwind of feelings, bitterness prevailed, leaving no room for other thoughts. I have nothing else to add.
