If I remember correctly, there was a dispute over the authorship of the soundtrack for Profondo Rosso, initially attributed entirely to Giorgio Gaslini, but in reality, he only composed part of it (including the terrible children's tune), while the famous theme of the film was by Simonetti. Last night I listened to it again after quite some time, what a wonderful album. Jaco's sound always gives me chills. And Metheny? He was just over twenty and he was already great. It's true that I haven't liked him much recently, but I've read positive reviews about "One Quiet Night" so now I have to give it a listen.

You know, magician, I was thinking of writing a review of a Fresu CD just to include the interview as an in-depth feature, but it would have taken too much time and given the current relevance of the contents, I decided to send it like this. I didn't give a rating for the interview because I couldn't grasp its meaning. While the rating given by readers can represent their appreciation for what has been said, it might also be superfluous, actually. However, if I had to express a rating as a commentator, it would clearly be five, because Paolo Fresu has shown through his words a cultural passion of broad scope that transcends music and embraces other forms of art. Not to mention his availability; he replied to me, in fact, in record time. I believe it would be very nice if everyone tried to develop this great idea of Lor15's 5 Questions. Perhaps a help guide could be written with useful tips for creating them. It’s also not necessary for the questions to be strictly five; on the other hand, we need to consider the artist's availability, and the fewer questions there are, the higher the chances they’ll respond. Bye.
