If there's an opportunity to talk with you in the future about common topics, I will be more than happy. However, and here's where the problem lies, there are ways and ways to engage in discussion. To be honest, I haven't been very fond of yours so far. Let's say I find it a bit... cheap (I hope you don't mind me borrowing a term, at least you know well what I mean).

But it’s a pleasure to discuss these topics. So you don’t know how much I would have loved to participate in this discussion but (alas!) I can’t afford to because I’m not familiar with the subject, given that Ferretti & C. are not part (except superficially) of my musical knowledge. Unlike frantz and vanamente who have instead loved and listened to this music for years (as you can see, by visiting the site, you also learn about the musical tastes of other users).

I imagined that I wouldn't have to wait long for your intervention, koopa. Allow me, therefore, to explain that you have misunderstood. There is no acclamation here. Much more simply, the regular visitors of the site know each other quite well, and since I am one of them, many know that I often enjoy participating in such interesting discussions. Even when the discussions take unexpected turns or when they become difficult.

Boh? What can I say? Let's do it this way, koopa, take a nice chamomile tea (double, please), then have a good sleep. Tomorrow, calmly and lightly, reread what I wrote before (when I was a bit teasing, imitating the words of Giò and Kurz, you know how I like a bit of self-irony from time to time, what can you do), and then reread what you wrote. If after all these steps you still feel you don't need to change a single comma in your comment, then we can talk about it again. Alright? Bye and have a good evening :)
Lucio Battisti Anima Latina

Well, you know Valerio, I think many prejudices about Battisti stem from the accusation of being an uninvolved singer in difficult years and from his alleged affiliation with the MSI. I don't think it's fair to categorize Battisti politically as it has often been done (and between us, this story of Battisti being a fascist seems like a load of nonsense to me), nor do I believe that his supposed "lack of commitment," which was much discussed in the '70s and '80s, is a fault. Today, when I think of Battisti, I think of an important musician in the world of song, and when I listen to him, I only think of his music and I don’t mind it at all.

I had "Don Giovanni" on vinyl, but now I can't remember if I sold it or lost it in a poker game (it's happened sometimes). After years, it came back home in the form of a CD (thx), I listened to it again and I liked it, even more than in the past, I'd say. This album, on the other hand, I don't remember, but I don't have an in-depth knowledge of Battisti. Any prejudice? Yes, I had some silly prejudices about Battisti. I'll try to get it (thx for the blue hint).

You know something, Nick? I had 2 forgotten CDs of Madrugada that were collecting dust. I grabbed a cloth, dusted them off properly, and I tried to listen to them again. Well, not bad.

Always nice to read different perspectives on the same album. It makes you want to listen to it to join the discussion, but in this case, the comments (and especially an empty wallet) keep me away from this CD :) Bye Bye.

The level of the discussion has risen beyond my maximum threshold of understanding, if a comment from me comes now it’s the end for me! :)
