It's an album I've listened to (and appreciated) a lot on your recommendation and I've recommended it in turn. I didn't know much about him, I just traced back to the connections with Broderick, so the review is not only beautiful but also useful, hal_oa.

Aside from a terrible, but really terrible, fall from grace with a fascist-like style, the review is also amusing for its tone of hyperbole typical of fans. The work reviewed is obviously a masterpiece of the genre, but it's clear that not everyone can appreciate it in the same way.

I agree with Gustavotanz that "Da questa parte del mare" is one of the most beautiful Italian albums in recent years. This, on the other hand, seemed to me like a minor record, a passing one, ultimately dispensable, despite being well-crafted and nicely done. Three and a half stars.

Watched it last night. The visual impact is interesting, the colors, the imagined and constructed worlds. Stop. The screenplay is banal, the dialogues predictable and trite, and the narrative rhythm is weak. If they had spent more creativity on building a plot and a story without relying almost entirely on special effects and marketing, and without borrowing here and there from films, comics, literature, and documentaries to then blend it all into an inconsistent movie, perhaps, just perhaps, it would have been a good film. Two and a half stars.

A truly beautiful and interesting page, a straightforward review among my favorites and a book in my library, thank you.
