I was waiting for the citation of the Black Sabbath, thx damaskinos, I would have done it myself but it didn't seem right since I don't know the band beyond a superficial level. As for the Pink Floyd, it's impossible not to think of them while listening to "Set Us Free" – that's absolutely true.

From the way you describe it, I have the impression that, unlike you, I'm really going to like this album.

Pat Metheny Zero Tolerance For Silence

A difficult album, noisy, at times honestly unbearable, far removed from the idea that many have of Metheny, an idea that is sometimes too schematic and rooted in the prejudice that stems from ignorance. A courageous album, outside the box; for this reason alone, it’s worth listening to at least once, to feel a bit annoyed and also somewhat surprised. For this reason, I feel like giving it a solid four, even though it might deserve less. I remember it as a bit of a shock, I found it disconcerting, but today I don’t have such a clear idea of it anymore; it’s been ages since I listened to it. In the meantime, I’ve continued to listen to Metheny. Recently, the new album by the Pat Metheny Group "The Way Up" was released, a sunny album that has nothing to do with this one, which nonetheless remains an isolated experiment. I would love to hear a middle ground between these extremes. The review is beautiful for me, as is your nickname. Say hi to Dr. Humbert and welcome :)

It's been a while since I've listened to it, but I remember it quite well. These are records that are not easily forgotten.

The last thing I heard from Zion was Neurosis & Jarboe (beautiful!), I haven't been able to get my hands on The Eye Of Every Storm, but if what you say is true, I HAVE to listen to it at all costs. This one is also a great album, let me know what you think once you've listened to it; if you can't find it, I'll send you a homemade version. Bye :)

It doesn't seem like an album to me, but I'd give "Who's Joe" a listen, a sample? Bye
