The Beatles Revolver

Nice comment as well; speaking of Beatles covers, the soundtrack of "I'm Sam" isn't bad. There are also a lot of very beautiful jazz interpretations, like Blackbird by Mehldau or Uri Caine, which are the first ones that come to mind. Best regards.

I'm listening to Julian Cope, I gave away the Archive records, I don't care about the lists, I couldn't care less about the rest, I'm just not in the mood.

Yes, it’s true, what’s it got to do with it? I didn’t deny it. I just didn’t understand what you understood, I didn’t get the meaning of your comment. I don’t even know if I feel like understanding it today. I don’t know if I... understood myself. Sorry sylvian, but today it’s not going well. Today is a really terrible day. Another day, not today.

Your alias is beautiful and so is the comment, even though I had a different perception from yours while listening to this album, hello :)

Dear Ege, I was asking you for clarification on that matter, which I can't find in your response. Honestly, I was just trying to understand why and how you support a nonsense by calling it a "kernel of truth," but frankly at this point "mi n'affuttu." Regards.
Madeleine Peyroux Careless Love

I listened to this album a lot a few months ago; it’s really nice, well-made, fresh, as you rightly point out. It’s surprising that this musician has released just two albums in eight years... I wonder why. The best track for me is the cover of "dance me to the end of love" by Cohen, which opens the CD, because it’s "purified" of all its bitterness, a difficult undertaking given the original musical reference. It's also true that Madaleine has a voice similar to Billie Holiday's, but to speak of reincarnation is going a bit too far. In short, I don’t completely agree with you. The interpretative ability, the nuances, the colors of Billie Holiday are from another planet, from which Madeleine is still distant. In my opinion, this similarity is both her strength and her limit, because it doesn’t hold up to the comparison, which is still inevitable. Bye.
