Reading made me think of the story of another not-so-fortunate guitarist, as he died quite young: Rory Gallagher. These are people to be constantly rediscovered. So, good recommendation, Dani.

Interesting, I've never heard of it but it intrigues me, some samples would be very welcome :) but damn... to define the Pentangle and Fairport Convention as little groups... brrr a shiver of horror :)))

Eh kz, the records by these Calabrians aren’t bad at all. I also got the soundtrack from the theater show "Roccu U Sturtu" and I liked it for the themes it tackles. Plus, I find them quite likable. I’d also love to see more from Josi; let’s hope others give it a try too. Bye cuin :)

Lucio Battisti Don Giovanni

Mozart-Da Ponte? It’s interesting to think about.... "Then I think, that I love you, no, rather, what torment" Who knows bogusman, perhaps some encrypted reference as you say could be contained in this line. After all, Don Giovanni in the myth didn’t love women but himself. A libertine indeed, and for this he is punished. A libertine who destroyed the women he encountered. But if I’m not mistaken, the myth of Don Giovanni lives beyond Mozart's opera, I believe there are references in Spanish literature... I should check. In any case, it always presents these characteristics. However, the connection with Panella might be a forced interpretation. I don’t know... Bye.
