Paolo Conte Elegia

The fact is that sometimes in certain artists, skill takes precedence over talent (craftsmen, indeed), but fortunately that's not the case with Conte. Bye

Nice anecdote about Aguaplano, thanks :) but I'm not too fond of the idea of "craft" when thinking about this record, which for me is a bit different, but that doesn't mean it's not beautiful. In my opinion, it's an album that betrays an evolution; the creative vein is alive, and if in a few years Conte pulls an even more beautiful album out of the hat, I wouldn't be surprised at all. Those who make music based on "craft" are unlikely to create records like this. Bye.
Francesco Guccini Stagioni
Voto:
mmmm... I think Guccini has two faces: the politically engaged one and then the personal, introspective one. I've always preferred the latter because I have always found it more ... true, connected to the man, to his memories, to his stories. However, in recent years, he seems to be in decline in inspiration; perhaps he has already said everything he needed to say. I don't know.

I only remember that I didn't make it to the end of this album :)

Live, I had liked his voice; then his solo album had left me a bit cold at least initially, but this one I liked right away.

Really analytical and interesting review, although a bit detached. The metal veins you mention push me away from the purchase, but it would be good to listen and see how intense they are; you never know. If you can include the samples, that wouldn't be bad. Hi :)
