Ah, but I was referring to the country finale complete with banjo and violins of Tabular Bells II, which I honestly find, more than pompous, just incredibly kitsch, and in my opinion, it clashes absurdly with the rest of the music.

Thank you Francesco, it's always a pleasure to talk about music. Since I'm here, let me update you on something I hinted at earlier... I read that Metheny will be in Sant'anna Arresi in early August... "what bad luck, I'm going to miss him again," I think. Because I have work and the place is incredibly far (260 km on a not-so-beautiful road). Yesterday, I opened the newspaper and read that Fiorello won't be able to perform the show scheduled for August 7 in Alghero (30 km from my house) and will be replaced by Pat Metheny and Enrico Rava. Well, these are the kinds of news that do you good, I assure you :))

Album I haven't listened to in ages, thanks for reminding me. I really love Corea, I saw him live last year... amazing!!! Slow start, continuous growth, final apotheosis. Seeing him with the Elektric Band though... I think I would have liked it even more.
