Sodastream A Minor Revival

I have one of their albums - I think - somewhere, but I don't remember which one. However, from what little I recall, it seems like you capture the essence of their music well. welcome dunebuggy (but does your nickname come from "altrimenti ci arrabbiamo"? :)
Yann Tiersen Le Phare

Perhaps it's the only one by Yann Tiersen that I've never listened to... the references are enticing, but the rating of odradek balances out the curiosity...
Pino Daniele Pino Daniele
Voto:
Pino Daniele today may not be the same as the one who played on this album, but for me, he is a great musician, one of those who puts his heart into the music.

I've already read some great reviews of the album that praised it, but this one is certainly no less, on the contrary. I'm still waiting for it; at this point, I hope it arrives soon.

@ zzzzz well, you were there too, even if you didn't know it :) (thx again) @ ajejebrazorf the church of Sant'Antioco di Bisarcio is in the countryside of the municipality of Ozieri and Paolo Fresu has been using it for Time in Jazz for quite some time. In the details, I included a photo of the church just to give an idea of the place. @ Enkriko, I fully endorse your opinion on Garbarek, a great musician... too bad he was here in July and I missed it. @ josi, this year has indeed been a summer rich in events, unfortunately all too close together. Sometimes it's hard to choose (see Garbarek... what a regret... he was with the Hilliard Ensemble). @ odradek, I didn’t know Sisdel but I was impressed by odradek. Regarding their recordings, like the mentioned album, I know that Bugge has founded his own label and left ECM because he no longer identified with Manfred Eicher's aesthetic. A farewell without controversy, he just made different choices. He is nevertheless a musician deserving of attention. As for Nyman by the sea, I saw some images yesterday... a very fascinating location. What a pity again. Bye :)

Yes, me!! :)) then I made sure to get the original because this is a great album, both for the music and the wonderful lyrics. It's one of the albums I’ve listened to the most this year, and the review was necessary, and I really like this one (welcome john). BPB's trip to Nashville had disappointed me a bit; I approached this work cautiously. But this album is another story, and what a story it is. "My Home Is The Sea" I must have heard a thousand times... there's that little silence before the electric guitar comes in that gives me chills. But it's only one episode among many. One of the most beautiful albums of the year for me. If anyone is interested, keep in mind that I have an extra copy made in Swiss :))

This review is a real gem and so are the comments! Speaking of Kronos - there’s also no review of theirs in here - has anyone listened to their latest album? I’ve read somewhat mixed opinions.
