I've been listening to Yma Sumac for a couple of months, and I find her astounding for her vocal abilities. It's incredible to hear the ease with which she moves from low notes to incredibly high ones. Absolutely fantastic. In her songs, there is also an indescribable taste for the exotic—curious, captivating, cinematic. Music certainly worth discovering even today.

As difficult and debatable as classifications may be, talking about pop-jazz effectively conveys the idea of this music. An album that I honestly remember with annoyance, as it bored me a lot, but as background it can work.

We've said it all about this group Claudio, and as I've mentioned on other occasions, I'm also curious to read different suggestions from you. I personally consider this collection unnecessary, also because I'm not particularly fond of music DVDs, with a few exceptions. For example, I've been watching a Traffic live performance these days, which I highly recommend to everyone. Bye.
