Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Sinfonie n°40 K 550 e n°41 K 551 "Jupiter"
Voto:
I join the loggione as usual, even though, as always, there’s little to add to your exhaustive proposal. I can only say now that the reasons you underline have led me to not love Symphony No. 40 very much and to prefer the Jupiter; perhaps I shouldn’t dwell on it. However, I must admit that I also like some of the youthful symphonies (right now I can’t recall the classifications) that may be indebted to Haydn but always have that particular Mozartian touch, especially in the melodies. I also join in the praise for Bernstein, although for his delicacy, I also loved Karl Bohm as an interpreter with the Wiener. Bai bai :)

However, I didn't mind that cover or this album either.
Franz Schubert La morte e la fanciulla (Hagen-Quartett)
Voto:
It's a shame that these beautiful proposals evoke little interest, but patience. "Death and the Maiden" is one of Schubert's most intense quartets. At times, I find it exhilarating, and it often gives me the impression of "running away." I'm not familiar with this interpretation you suggest; at the time, I got the box set of all Schubert's quartets (and also Beethoven's) performed by the Amadeus Quartet, a series of stunning recordings that I believe are worth getting, especially since they aren’t too expensive.

Edvard Grieg Piano Concerto - "Peer Gynt" Suites nn. 1 e 2 - 2 Melodie Nordiche
Voto:
After reading, I regretted not being familiar with this piano concerto by Edvard Grieg because you managed, with your words, to instill not only the right information about this work but also all of your uncommon passion for this music in the reader. You have no idea how much this Norwegian dawn intrigues me. I will take note of the final recommendation to fill this gap. Review highly recommended. Thx :)
Giya Kancheli In l'istesso tempo
Voto:
What little I know of Giya Kancheli I find terribly poignant, to the point that I have to limit my listening to certain moments. There is one album in particular that I have listened to a lot and remember perfectly: Lament. In this, silence became as important a space as the music itself and contrasted with truly intense and painful progressive "crescendo." It is a demanding listen, not easy, just as it is not easy to talk about this kind of music, capturing what it might be like.
René Aubry Invités Sur La Terre

Despite the affection "Steppe" might be a bit dated today Wanderer, I'm not sure I would dip into my piggy bank for that, but I would definitely consider this one, bye :)

Plaisir d'amour is an important album for me, odradek. As often happens, certain episodes can connect us to an album more than others. I feel like I discovered Aubry around 1993/94 thanks to circles related to dance and theater (the album was "steppe," if I remember correctly), and little by little, I also overcame an initial skepticism (the new age scent makes me distrustful). As for Mattotti, it indeed had to be emphasized the beauty of the covers and the skill of the author; you thought of that, and it’s perfectly fine :)
