The story of the photographs happened in Lucca too, she interrupted the concert and said (for the umpteenth time) "no photos, should I draw you a little picture?" ... wow, what a personality!

When I was talking about déjà vu, I meant that this review was available on the Keithjarrett.it site indeed ;) as for the ticket prices, I was aware of them, but at this moment I would risk buying it blindly, meaning that I might not be able to go. I'll take another two days to think about it, then I'll call. For now, Frantz, you can open a demeeting, after all, you already have the ticket, so we can continue this discussion there. Bye

First, however, the one at the auditorium in Rome will come out, it seems, as an appetizer of phalanges :)

I fully agree with wanderer's comment; the samples could resolve all doubts.

I also heard Jarrett in trio a few years ago in Lucca, a splendid memory of a wonderful summer evening. But the idea of a solo piano concert is truly something else. As far as I know, the tickets for Venice going on sale this Saturday are flying off the shelves. Wanderer, I fear I won't make it either; unfortunately, it's hard for me to plan things so far in advance. It's a shame because it would have been a great opportunity, indeed a unique one. Hearing Jarrett in that setting will surely be an emotional moment. As it was for this record, which I believe is one of the most beautiful; we even talked about it in other forums if I remember correctly. However, I must say that in recent weeks I've been rediscovering my passion for the Bremen/Lausanne concert, which I have always found surprising and magical at La scala, unique also for the setting. I perceive the review as a feeling of surrender of words before music, and I like that a lot, even though the reading left me with a déjà vu. Bye.

I heard them last night, but I have to confess that I didn't like them much; they left me with the same impression you mentioned in your review, that they could have dared more. Instead... well, it's a curious endeavor, but it seems to lack depth. Of course, this impression comes from a late-night, sleepy, and superficial listening, so it might not mean much. Bye :)

I'm late, but the important thing is to arrive. Even if there's little to say, the lovely and heartfelt reviews that precede me testify well to that. I don't know the album, and to be honest, I have an idea (or a prejudice) that it might not be for me. Let's check the samples... the first one is from that cute 80s video game video :) let's see the others... not bad luk, not bad... I'm thinking about it. Bye
