Coroner Grin

Welcome back, Bartle. This is probably my favorite album by Coroner, with its Thrash not Thrash and the various influences it brings, lavishly described. Tommy Vetterli stated: "... certain rhythms, at the time, were a gamble, Coroner will never be understood...." He blurted this out at the release of "Outcast" by Kreator; in that album, you can hear something from "Grin," even though Tommy participated when the songs were practically finished. Between Petrozza and Vetterli? Well, I definitely choose Vetterli. When Coroner wanted to deliver Thrash, they did it perfectly and made humanity understand that they could mix Thrash with various influences without disorienting the listener. The first six lines of this review are stunning, full of meaning just like the music of Coroner. Congratulations, Bartleboom, it's a pleasure to read you and welcome back again!

Congratulations anyway for the editorial Tepes, I had completely forgotten about it!

Reading this review, I realized I've aged more than David Bowie in the movie "Miriam Si Sveglia A Mezzanottte." I just can't find the time to keep up with Death and other genres, unless my son in 20 years forms a Death Metal band, and then I might get back in the scene. Great review, anyway.

Well... the only thing I remember about Ivan Cattaneo are the covers of "Io ho in mente te" and "Quando tramonta il sol."

Too difficult for me, I can only get to Atheist or the first Sieges Even. Nice review but I can't even vote for it. Hi, see you next time!
Flotsam And Jetsam Doomsday For The Deceiver

Flotsam and Jetsam, or "human wreckage" (as read in the dictionary). So ocram, I’ll tell you that you write really well, with enthusiasm, without overdoing it, and that’s a rare virtue when reviewing an album. Bartleboom, ocram, Tepes are the reviewers I’ve read the most, all truly talented, although I must say that when I have time I try to read all your reviews, just as I've done with Bartle. I have this album on record, but I've listened to it very little. The level of composition is extremely high, and I’ll tell you that its misfortune was to come out in 1986 amidst the usual "senators" we know; if it had been released in 1984, it would have made a huge impact. For me, Bill Metoyer’s production is Thrash, but not as explosive as the one he did on "Ignorance" by Sacred Reich the following year. I think the drummer is very good, but the speed isn’t as furious as Lombardo-Hoglan-Benante. However, I must assert that after reading your review, I listened to the album again and I admit (with joy) that they are very talented. Perhaps they didn’t break through definitively because of those who thought like me (the usual sophists). I’ve only listened to this work of theirs, and luckily they redeemed themselves with a long career, proving not to be Newsted-dependent. Well done ocram, truly an excellent job, I renew my esteem for your choice of the band to review, I hope you will also cover the next one (I believe it’s called "No Place For The Disgrace," and they say it’s more Thrash than the debut). Bye!

A kind of Vincenzo Monti of reviews, with the added value of expertise. Truly talented!

It's not Francescopus but Francescobus. The score of 4 refers to the content of the review, not to the fact that it isn't a duplicate. There are also well-written duplicates, that's for sure. Hello everyone!
