But figure it out. The reason I came back I've already explained: you can check it out in the review of The Ring if you feel like it. To the question posed to me by Hugoniot, I answered indeed: I saw the film and it made me sick to my stomach. The movie is clearly racist, and you can debate this for centuries; it won't change. To conclude: about the Battle of Thermopylae, I had a Greek version last week in class. Authorial version. And the authors described the events, Trella, believe me. Of the events accurately described by a historian of the time (I believe it was Herodotus), I didn't find even the most rotten shadow in this dreadful little film. Just the dismemberments. Re-read in a racist light, of course. But one had to expect it: Hollywood always distorts history.

For the series: Bisius didn't see it, because he put one on something like that. Too bad, guys. Others have rated it too. Rightly so, evidently. And I fully agree with them. It's not that anyone with a different opinion from yours is a jerk. This is a mishmash of special effects in mega style, with no head or tail, and a damn story in between. I would have given a 5 to a film that talks about true history, not (racist) history replaced by special effects. For crying out loud!
