But how can I not comment on the king of DeRecensori, vellutogrigio? What should I say this time? That I admire you more and more? That you are a role model? No, I've already said that... nothing else to say, except for a well-deserved applause and the wish for a shining career for a long time to come.

Prof, I’ve finished the homework and we’ll correct it tomorrow in class. I’ve never commented on Angelo Branduardi. I only mentioned that it’s disgraceful to compare him to Zucchero when it comes to Miles Davis. I shared my opinion on Queen. And after all, Italy is supposed to be a free country? I mean, where everyone can express their opinion? Damn, what democracy, huh!

Dile, and here’s where the problem lies. I don’t offend your opinions. I’M TELLING THE TRUTH. The pure and wholesome truth. The Finley are a bunch of crap. A possible mitigating factor might be that you’re fourteen years old and a girl (a critical age, therefore), but as soon as you’re out of this endless tunnel, try listening to something else. Stuff that isn’t bombarded two thousand times a day on the radio, on MTV, All Music, and Total Request Live. Try to discover new musical universes. When I was eight years old, I went crazy for pop. Then they told me to try listening to new things. I started listening to rock. I liked it. I moved on to punk (not this, which is nothing but commercial), the kind by The Clash and Ramones. I liked it. Finally, I evolved into metal and alternative music. And I went crazy. Now, from the height of my fifteen years, seeing my peers listening to this stuff fills me with sadness. And if I say Tool, they confuse it with a brand of chocolate, and if I say Queens Of The Stone Age, they think I’m crazy, and if I say System of a Down, they take it for a dictatorial regime. Dile, since it seems to me that you have intelligence to spare, take my advice: ditch the Finley and explore real music.
