I know where Unwound is, it's not too far from my house. Perfect, I plan to be there. Melt Banana + Pissed Jeans on May 27th? If we can do one, why not two? Bambi's Dilemma and Hope For Men, two great albums from A.D. 2008. Thanks for the info, Purpulan! Maybe I'll see you there too. P.S. In the list of special thanks, I forgot to mention the legendary Vellutogrigio before. So happy to have you back in one of my reviews, thanks.

Thank you all for the numerous comments and appreciation; I hope I’ve introduced you to a great album. So, I’ll go a bit off the cuff and tell Luca that yes, I mostly write on Storiadellamusica under my real name, and I am endlessly grateful for the compliments that I don’t deserve. Thank you also for the attention with which you follow me; I am sincerely honored. To Bjorky, I reply that "harsh" is not so much a musical genre as it is an extremization and further distortion of classic noise. Let’s say, to put it in more understandable terms, it’s a noise that is less physical and more electronic, more "drone" (to also address Ghemison's doubt). I also personally thank OleEinar, Alì Murtacc, Telespallabob, and Hal - thanks for stopping by - I'm not sure if the album suits your tastes, Hal, but do try to give it a listen anyway ;). Finally, I close this lengthy note by asking Purpulan: when and where are you coming to Padova? If there are still tickets and the price is reasonable, I will definitely come. Thanks again to everyone for stopping by and for reading!

Better Copy (wonderful but a bit heavy) and Talk Amongst The Trees. This is more of a 3.5.

No, here, I was saying, I was passing by and, yeah, well, I know that, um, but... well, I can’t do it. Madonna's album and the whole entourage of Saints (not Raphael), like I think almost all of monsieur Giovanni's discography and his brigand collaborators. Before he releases the 1000th album, I will go see him live (who knows what he'll be playing, I have no idea!) and I will meet him in person, as sure as death.

The votes! (one note: is it more post-rock than apocalyptic folk?)

My warmest congratulations on the choice, Lewis, absolutely challenging and almost unheard at first glance. On the other hand, once understood and well absorbed, the album is a gigantic punch in the gut. Four songs over 15 minutes each that embed themselves in the flesh (the vocal lines of "1.000.000 Died To Make This Sound" are terrifying) and never leave. Again, congratulations on the development as well.
