Macaco, I'm sorry but you can also label Tool under the prog(metal) genre. It's true they don't showcase richness and vitality... but this very peculiarity has made them pioneers of a new genre that is light years away from the aforementioned outdated band. Tool-Symphony 1 fixed, nothing compared to Symphony X.

If it hadn't been for you, the reviewer of "Panopticon," I would have dismissed this album without a second thought. And, honestly, de-genres aren’t really my thing. Nevertheless, I’ll definitely give it a listen. I really like Isis and I don’t mind Mogwai… what do you think, do I have any decent credentials to take it in? Or is this a whole different story?
