Great Prog that you mentioned High Tide (by the way, reviews are about 0 for this great band).

Here are the first five that come to mind in no particular order: 1) Gentle Giant/Gentle Giant - 2) Rush/2112 3) Jethro Tull/Tick or Acqualung 4) Soft Machine-Third 5) Yes-Fragile. Question: but don't Dream Theater make prog? Didn't they used to suck?

After the CD Non-Metal (The Art of Self Defense), the not-beautiful CD (Snakes for the Divine), precisely.

Oh yes, Fest, in fact I cursed quite a bit before downloading the right one. Luckily, Barty came to the rescue, just in time. :-)

Metal, Doom, Thrash Metal. As for the genres, after listening to it 2-3 times, I would say I agree with you. Unfortunately, it lacks that sick stoner-sludge that got me so hyped in "Blessed Black Wings." Too many melodic openings and a somewhat worrying thrash-like turn; this is a CD that may please true metalheads and not a pseudo-metalhead like me. "Melvins in a tremendously angrier version," it could be, but definitely not here. After those masterpieces "The Art of Self-Defense" and "Blessed Black Wings," they have kind of lost their edge. Let it be clear, Pike's voice is always brutal and "Bastard Samurai" gives me some satisfaction, but I expected much, much more.

There were already 3-4 reviews of this album. But who cares... let's write about it and talk about Syd anyway. Nice review.

I should have been there at the Pistoia Blues, 2 years ago. Anyway, they are often stopping in Italy. "My God" immense.
