Comus First Utterance
Voto:
Great "First Utterance," a small masterpiece in its own right.
Al Di Meola Elegant Gipsy

I have only heard the live version of "Mediterranean Sundance" from San Francisco. Divine!
Park Chan Wook Old Boy
Voto:
It may be flashy, but I liked it. At least it's something different... and visual excesses aren't necessarily a bad thing...
Johann Sebastian Bach - Glenn Gould Variazioni Goldberg (1981)

Jokes aside, I’m listening to the Variations: you were right, “only Glenn Gould could surpass Glenn Gould.” I really enjoyed the part where you say that the fury of youthful impulsiveness is tempered by the serenity of wisdom: an image that really conveys the idea of “maturity.” Regards

Count, you still haven't removed the photo, are you starting to enjoy it?? ;-)
Antonello Grimaldi Caos Calmo
Voto:
I haven't read the book, I'll go see the movie this weekend... but it's not possible that every time they talk about "Caos Calmo" on television, they only refer to those famous four minutes... and that's it!
Ella Fitzgerald Sings The Rodgers And Hart Song Book

I quote Sanjuro: a bit of culture always does good... out with the names!!
Riverside Rapid Eye Movement
Voto:
Oh, what a crowd... this is proof that this group doesn't have the success it deserves... you're right, DeadHorse, many groups should learn from Riverside! Rather, if you don't know them, go check out something by Indukti, a side project of Mariusz Duda; in their album, you’ll find all the Riverside-like atmospheres! By the way, thanks to Logic Probe for introducing me to them! (his review)

Conte, it seems you’ve hooked up! ;-) PS: I’m trying to find this work, I can’t wait to listen to it! Have a nice day.

Nice proposal... the Riverside always churn out great products. This latest album, in my opinion, is a step below the previous ones, mainly because it has to contend with "Second Life Syndrome," which I truly believe is one of the best progressive albums in recent years. Well done.
