Potentially interesting, still awaiting the first listen. An emotional review, of a certain charm. Although for recent releases by lesser-known authors, a slightly more "technical" review is always advisable, to avoid irritated comments from users.

Good job David, you've filled a significant gap. I believe that "Mutations" is unjustly considered by many to be a "minor" work of Beck. I, on the other hand, count it among his best: the right balance between musical eclecticism, experimentation, and neo-melodic tendencies. As you have excellently pointed out.

I finally listened to it. I have to say I didn't find much of Jeff Buckley in there. Rather, some echoes of Nick Drake in the more acoustic tracks. Anyway, it's a great album.
