Robert De Niro The Good Shepherd
Voto:
I didn't mind the film, actually. And then the only films that serve a purpose are the porn ones, I think...
Michael Cimino Il cacciatore
Voto:
an outstanding film: a clear and harsh reflection on the loneliness of the human condition. poetic.
Michael Mak Sex and Zen
Voto:
movies to rediscover. in my opinion, it hides much more than it might seem at first glance.
Vittorio De Sisti Delitti e Profumi
Voto:
stunning film, one of Calà's best alongside "Un ragazzo e una ragazza". An exceptional cast (Smail in remarkable form). In the comments, I've read a lot of stupid arrogance: sometimes people forget that a comedy should make you laugh. Just to clarify, the film was not shot in Castelfranco but in Padua, and the shopping center is the very old La Corte (in Mortise, outskirts of Padua), which was inaugurated specifically for the film.
Deep Purple Made In Europe
Voto:
this album is a blast, even though it's poorly assembled with bits pilfered from the '75 tour. but then again, the purple have always been the best live, with any lineup. yes, any, even with j.l. turner squawking (the only exception: when bolin was wasted on stage...).
Clint Eastwood Gli Spietati
Voto:
great movie, excellent review.
Vanadium Game Over
Voto:
I've never heard this album, but Pino is something phenomenal... eh eh eh... look for his videos on YouTube and I assure you, you'll be dying laughing! In any case, back then the Vanadium were really popular (and not just in Italy, I believe), then they inevitably got lost along the way.
Werner Herzog Anche I Nani Hanno Cominciato Da Piccoli
Voto:
This film oozes life from every frame. Wonderful.
Francesca Comencini Mi Piace Lavorare (Mobbing)
Voto:
Seeing Comencini talk about issues related to precariousness and work is a bit like hearing Mother Teresa praise gang-banging... in short, slightly unbelievable. Otherwise, the film oozes arrogance from every angle.
Stanley Kubrick Shining
Voto:
Oh my God, it’s so funny reading the comments on Debaser, it’s become a new form of entertainment: you start with a few comments related to cinema that seem to hint at a real discussion, and then in no time, it switches to nonsense (like the ranking of the greatest directors of all time) or personal insults (which, frankly, are my favorites). And anyway, Stanley is truly great, no doubt about it...
