No no, what are you saying, Fidia, I’m from Taranto, no joking around here... Do I need to write a phrase in dialect to validate my claim? :-)

I don't have time to read it now, but you definitely fished out a little treasure from our Italy. These guys knew how to handle electronics. Well done, Qzerty!

Great Odra, you're hitting the dancefloor! I don't know this project (you know, I'm a "young old"), but as soon as I can listen to the samples, I'll let you know—it's easy to get a sense from what little I've heard. The references are definitely top-notch, so I should like it. It's very positive that someone like you, who usually listens to other stuff by your own admission, has written such a review, as you've helped chip away at the prejudices surrounding "tunz tunz" music, which is often relegated to B-music by the usual snobs. In everything, there are A, B, and C categories; it's not the genres or categories that define them, but who constitutes them. Cheers!

Hey Giorgio, just so you know, I’m more of an amateur than you are. And about what you read in the review: I don’t really dive into the '90s much; I prefer the old-school vibe of Frankie Knuckles' "Your Love." By the way, what a wonderful track. Anyway, if you happen to find this collection at a good price (though I doubt it), grab it immediately. It’s a beautiful snapshot of the golden age of American clubs. A disco sound, refined, with soul vocals and "real" percussion, enhanced by Levan's remixing touch.

Things particularly from the decade 77-87. Wave, post punk, dark, funk, disco, early house and techno, electro, in short, I like to explore everything from that decade.

Well done, really well done Cheri. You've described the essence of this compilation very well. Indeed, there are some episodes that might make you laugh, alternated with others that are truly "forward." Lighthouse by Tim Blake is stunning, and you rightly mentioned it. However, I disagree with you regarding the anticipation of certain trance. In reality, I think its sounds were entirely rooted in the lush sound of Jean Michel Jarre's analog synthesizers. Moreover, you didn't mention what I believe is the most innovative piece of all, namely "The Force Part 1" by the Droids, taken from the legendary 77 LP with that ridiculous spaceship on the cover. A legendary record. The high BPMs and the hypnotic flow of the piece really remind me of certain 90s techno. Anyway, I repeat, well done indeed; you're bringing out truly noteworthy records. If you get a chance, check out my review of Larry Levan, you'll have a good laugh.. bye! PS: Odra... you should definitely get this one too. Hehe... 2PS. You too, Zion...

Odra, this album is a nice gem; if you get the chance, buy it. Supercheri a girl! How nice, is it possible that I don't know anyone who has at least a bit of interest in music? (Including mine...)

Well done. You did a great job reviewing this compilation, excellent from every point of view. To be honest, some episodes come off as a bit naive and a little too rough, but you're right. Better than one might expect. Some tracks are really very beautiful.
