I’ll start by saying that I absolutely do not like it. However, I must also admit that I am fond of some songs from this album like "Non è tempo per noi," "Piccola stella senza cielo," and "Balliamo sul mondo" because they remind me of my trip to France in my second year of high school, the 94-95 season. I know you might say: so what? Why should we care? But memories are memories, and the carefree spirit of being 16 never comes back. Now I feel a tear coming...
However, to be objective, I admit that even if it recycles clichés, the album wasn’t exactly trash for the Italian scene. Good melodies and the right amount of "carefreeness" of a debut. At least it was sincere.

Kristal, I can understand how you feel… believe me. I know what it’s like. I’ve been through it too. The South has colors that don’t exist anywhere else in Italy. However, having lived a year in the North, I can assure you that I’ve never been told that I didn’t speak Italian or that I was a zulù. No. I lived in Cesena, and the people there were always civil and polite with me, perhaps because I was the same way. Regarding the topic of Saputello… you’re telling me? These things are well-known… recommendations don’t exist only in competitions; they exist EVERYWHERE. If you have time, go read my review on Larry Levan… then let me know what you think. I don’t think we should dismiss the issue of a closed mentality, though. You said there are other REAL problems. No. I disagree. These are real problems too. Because it’s also from these things that the quality of life of a people is measured. Living with police raids, repression, imitating the NORTH while soon revealing your own outdated nature… well, it doesn’t seem like a good way to live. In fact, I repeat, it seems like a non-life.

There hasn't been much in Salento. Him. I was there for 5 years. And I think the same. What do we do about it? Am I a fag too? It's too easy to resolve the issue by insulting.

Obstacle 1 by Interpol is a great track. Top-notch post-punk minimalism!
(Is it okay that I replied? :-)

This is an authentic myth! It truly fills the squares! Anyway, you didn't mention perhaps the most beautiful song of Gigione's entire career, that is "O'Mercedes" Ma c fess! ma c fess! tann fatt o'mercedess, ma c fess, ma c fess, tann fatt o'mercedess!
What happened to him? I used to always follow him on Tele A, it was a fixed appointment, if I'm not mistaken it aired on Mondays at 9 PM.
Let me know what happened to him!

Well, this album is genius, it doesn't have much in my opinion.

Ethos, forgive me for saying this, but I think you’re getting too worked up. Come on, after all, Fidia just expressed his opinion. So, does that mean I, who gave 4 stars to Love And Rockets as well as to Virgin Prunes and only 3 to And Also The Trees, don’t understand a damn thing? It’s my opinion, which you can agree with or not, but I respected it. For example, I don’t share your statement about the whole gothic club scene. If a band enters a disco, I don’t think they automatically lose a point. It depends on "which" disco and "who" selects it. I see you have quite an issue with dark culture. In a way, I think you’re right (even if you’ve exaggerated the concept). I’ve seen ridiculous types dance in a pathetic manner, but above all, get stuck on that sound and remain trapped there for life, bound by nostalgia for times gone by. That attitude is, in my opinion, a sign of mental closeness. But am I wrong, or do you not really like the 80s? :-)

No no... what plastic years, look, this compared to the best stuff of the 80's is absolutely not a gem. You yourself said they were made up and so on, the gothic masterpieces of the 80s are quite different and very, very few. Those neoclassical fugues here are sometimes ridiculous. Too much emphasis, a sound that's too pompous, which has the merit of melody and danceable rhythm. In dark discos, these are anything but unknown. They drive it massively. They are perhaps the quintessence of the dark culture of the 80s. Many moves, costumes, baroque arrangements, but little substance.

Sorry... what's right is right. You're right Muso, the copyright is yours.

Airone is right when he identifies Schulze's Irrlicht as terrifying. Cyborg is a bit less so; it’s more varied, whereas Irrlicht is monolithic. Then Schulze will turn towards much softer sounds. For example, compare this work with "X". Where this is chilling, that one possesses a sensuality, a warmth, unknown to the electronic music of that time (and perhaps not just of that time). Nevertheless, he is a monster. Truly one of the few, great, true Artists.
