dear psychopompe, I tried to upload a sample but I can't do it. I admit it, I'm a disaster with computers, a complete mess, in short, I’m clueless. Anyway, nothing is lost; if you go to www.amazon.com in the MUSIC section and enter the artist's name, in this case the legendary foxx, you will find 5 nice warm samples to listen to. I discovered it there the first time and fell in love right away. Sorry again for my computer incompetence.

I bought it a week ago, intrigued by this review and other material online. It's not bad, but Luciano is completely right; you can't give 5 stars to this album. Even 4, in my opinion, are too many. It's true that there's this innovation with the huge distortion that covers (unintentionally, though...) but the songs are fundamentally a bit weak and repetitive. Many of them within the album sound alike and, in the long run, become boring. Overall, it's a good album, but the word masterpiece should be used with great caution.

Well done Emily, truly a beautiful review, written with passion and grace, without unnecessarily overdoing it with middle school diary phrases. I only have, unfortunately, the "Permanent" compilation of Joy Division, recommended to me by that ignorant (or dishonest? Better to stick with the first assumption) clerk, when I didn’t know them yet. I later discovered from various friends that that compilation doesn’t include many great tracks, and anyway, it shouldn’t have been bought, because groups like this shouldn’t be reduced to "greatest hits." Every time I look at the covers of "Closer" and "Unknown Pleasures," I always tell myself, buy them! But then I remember I have that compilation at home and I think: what am I going to do with that CD? And I give up. I have to make up my mind sooner or later, and it seems you’ve triggered the right moment. However, I can't stand being mocked by incapable and dishonest shopkeepers. Anyway, indirectly, thank you.

A PURE HEART AND A STRAIGHT DICK ARE WORTH MORE THAN ANY WEAK THOUGHT. This sentence would be enough to win it. This phrase should be said to every woman before knowing her name.

Innocence, to embody experiences, is typical of those who are open to life, dear vanity. Let me explain. Often, for one reason or another, we become unavailable; we shut ourselves off from experiences, a mysterious force prevents us from enjoying the things that belong to us most, and in fact, we almost fear them. Unfortunately, this often stems from negative experiences, various types of suffering, from injuries that we have endured and internalized that can no longer be washed away. If you are truly strong and aware, you should never make yourself unavailable to life, but continually offer yourself, even at the cost of "making mistakes." But is it really a mistake to follow what we are naturally destined to pursue? I don’t know the album, Sakamoto is known to me only for his collaborations with Sylvian from Japan, whom I adore. I will try to provide.

Your dot is provocative, a vulgar and childish provocation. What does the dot mean? Are you trying to snub me? You don’t write anything, you read it and walk away, that’s a clever way to go. I will never take revenge; I will read your reviews and if I like them, I will comment positively. I am above childish behavior. What I write doesn’t have to please you; evidently, if you don’t like it, you lack the ability to abstract, which is typical of many women, unfortunately. Because what I’ve written is beautiful. Period. Let’s stop this foolish story about the subjectivity of tastes, otherwise someone who adores Gigi D’Alessio would have to be appreciated and shared. I also listen to Neapolitan music; Mario Merola, for instance, is fine on certain occasions, just as Julio Iglesias is in others. But those who blindly accept Gigi and Britney should be considered nothing but a walking nothing. When it comes to stupidity, we must be racist.

Gentlemen, I apologize, but in my opinion, this isn't about DISPOSITION but rather about CAPACITY. I'm not necessarily referring to the users of this site, who are definitely more musically knowledgeable than I am. However, I can state that when it comes to this album, I speak with knowledge of the subject.

dear koopa, I can't tell you anything about the album you mentioned because I don’t know it, just like I’m not familiar with the warp universe. So maybe I’ll wait for your news to learn. In the sounds of Autechre, I definitely find traces of Kid A, and whether or not the stubborn fans of Radiohead like it (I’m their biggest fan, but I don’t consider myself uncritical about their music; they’re great but not gods descended to earth).
